Now Loki was properly introduced One pieceand with that, fans learned that Loki now possessed the legendary Devil Fruit. Until now, this legendary Devil Fruit has only been talked about and fans don't really know what this fruit is and what it does. That said, there are countless things that fans can take into account when discussing it and coming to a conclusion about what this power could potentially be.
How Loki gained the powerful Devil Fruit ability
- Loki killed his father Harald
- The legendary Devil Fruit came into Loki's possession
IN One piece chapter 1130, fans found out quite a bit about Loki. It was revealed that Loki was known as the Infamous Prince, or in other words, the Prince of Curse. This is probably because Loki has always been somewhat of a delinquent. What exactly he did in his past was not clear to the fans yet. But recently, Loki actually orchestrated something sinister that led to the death of his own father. Loki is believed to have killed his own father Harald in battle, presumably to take his place. Naturally, this did not materialize as fans were later informed.
He is a disgrace to Elbaf! – Giants
However, at the same time, it was revealed that Loki did all of this to get his hands on the Legendary Devil Fruit. Fans were not clear on what the Legendary Devil Fruit was. All fans know that this fruit is legendary in nature and that it has immense power. It is also passed down into the royal family. For some reason, Loki wanted this fruit and consumed it after his father's death. Learning that Loki had killed his father, the giants were naturally not happy with what he had done. As such, a campaign was waged against him and Loki was eventually imprisoned.
That said, it was shockingly revealed that it took the power of the entirety of the Elbafian Giants to actually trap Loki and put him in chains. This means that the fruit that Loki ate has immense power and cannot be underestimated at any cost. Loki probably has chains that prevent Devil Fruit powers from being discovered, such as those made from the Sea Prism Stone used on Big Mom in Udon Prison. That's all fans know so far about how Loki was captured and managed to eat his Devil Fruit.
What kind of Devil Fruit does Loki have?
Loki may have had a mythical Zoan type of devil fruit
Naturally, fans would love to know more about what kind of power Loki has and what devil fruit he ate. But before that, fans have to conclude what kind of devil fruit he ate. IN One piecethere are generally three types of Devil Fruit. The first type is Paramecia, which consists of abilities that allow users to transform their bodies into various materials (other than elements of nature) or produce certain substances. Paramecium also fits many different abilities that don't fit into the other two categories.
He ate the legendary devil fruit that was passed down in the royal family!
Then there are Zoan-type abilities. They are fruits that allow a person to turn into some kind of animal and are a hybrid between the race of a person and the animal ability they gain. And finally, there are the Logia-type Devil Fruits, which are the strongest of them all. Logia fruits have immense power and allow the user to create, control and also transform into an element or force of nature. Logias also gain intangibility from their Devil Fruits.
All things considered, fans can at least find out that Loki does not have a Paramecia Devil Fruit type. While Paramecias can be incredibly overpowering, no one would necessarily call any of them legendary. Even Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi, which is the strongest of all Paramecia types and has legendary power, was not labeled as legendary. This means that Logias could potentially fall into this category, simply because they are the most powerful Devil Fruits of all, and at the same time, the fruit that Loki ate could be in demand.

Blackbeard is looking for his third and final fruit in One Piece. He goes after the mighty Zoan.
Another thing that suggests Loki might have the Logia ability is the fact that Hajrudin wanted to be a Giant with a Logia fruit. This could be a foreshadowing from Oda and Loki could actually become the giant that Hajrudin wanted to be.
However, the most likely ability Loki has is the Mythical Zoan. Since this fruit is said to be legendary, it could be a special Zoan-type fruit that people like Luffy eat.
Loki's potential devil fruit could be the mythical Zoan
Loki's powers could be related to the Sun god
It is highly likely that Loki has some legendary Zoan. If it's a Zoan, then it's probably a mythical Zoan, and even more likely a Hito Hito no Mi. Fans know that legendary Devil Fruits, specifically Mythical Zoan-type ones, were revealed in the story. Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is an example and it's safe to say that this fruit is absolutely incredible. At the same time, fans know that Luffy's sun god powers are held in a legendary light. Oddly, Loki also calls himself the Sun God, and this may have something to do with the Devil Fruit he ate.
Naturally, he can't have the same ability as Luffy, but his abilities could also be somehow connected to the Sun god. Perhaps Loki ate another model of the Hito Hito no Mi, which he believes is the fruit that grants the powers of the Sun God.
But if he is not the Sun God, then there are many incredible divine entities in Norse mythology that Loki could have power over. One of the few interesting ones is Fenrir, who fans know is a mythical wolf-like entity that can devour just about anyone and has immense power. Another interesting ability he could have would be Jormungandr's ability. This is a powerful serpent and also Loki's child in Norse mythology, so dangerous that it could swallow anything and destroy anyone in its path, capable of triggering Ragnarok itself. Maybe Loki has this ability. It is also possible that Loki is holding some model of the Norse god Hito Hito no Mi. Of course, Oda is spoiled here and can choose from any fruit.
