Luffy's next reward after Elbaf has already been decided by Oda

One piece he's currently in the Elbaf arc and so far he's filled with nothing but excitement and revelations of major lore. Given the pace at which Elbaf is moving, it's safe to say the arch will close within two yearsconsidering Odo's breaks. After the Rocks Flashback, Elbaf comes to an end. With the end of Elbaf, fans will once again be treated to massive revelations and among them will be major reward reveals.

If there's one thing fans are always looking forward to, it's new rewards. While not everyone shows off the new bounties, Elbaf certainly does. Since the Holy Knights and Imu themselves are threats, Luffy gets his latest bounty update from Wanwhich took him from the 3 billion bounty to a new value that is likely to be around 4 billion. Luffy will reach new heights, but he won't be the only one, as all the other Yonks are set for a big reward increase as well.

Luffy had humble beginnings in East Blue where he received his first ever reward after defeating Arlong. His first reward was 30,000,000 berriesand has grown tremendously since then. Luffy's bounty has been constantly enhanced with each new big bad he takes down, reaching its current peak after the Battle of Onigashima where he took down Kaido. His reward skyrocketed to 3 billion berriesbut it's a long way from where it really can be.

Luffy and the straw pirates are currently on Elbaf, where they managed to get to after leaving Egghead, and their next pay rise is likely to come soon. After Elbaf finishes, Luffy's reward will most likely increase. Fans expect a new increase of at least one billion, which would give Luffy with over 4 billion berries. Luffy gets this boost by confronting Imu and potentially beating them in Gunk's body, or beating someone like Domi Reversi'd Loki. This stern defiance of world government puts a bigger target on his back.

With all that said, Luffy won't be the only Yonko to see his reward increase. All other Yonks are also up for a reward increase. Buggy with his cross guild causes chaos and even killed Vice Admiral T-Bone recently. Their threat can no longer be ignored, and they may soon receive newer rewards.

Blackbeard, meanwhile, may be behind a major attack on Marija. Moreover, he had recently captured Garp and his entire crew had self-declared that they wanted higher rewards. Learning to get a new reward is a guarantee.

As for Shanks, fans don't really know what he's up to at this point, but he is known to be making a move. This move could also lead to a bounty jump where it surpasses former Yonko Kaido and Big Mom's bounties.

Luffy's Final Bounty will be even higher

5.6 billion would make perfect sense

4 billion berries is very high for a reward for Luffy and would put him on par with an average Yonko. 4 billion will not be his peak, however One piece. Luffy's final reward will be much taller, and knowing Odo's love of puns and numbers games, it almost goes without saying that Luffy's reward will be around 5.6 billion.

56 is Luffy's iconic number which spells the word “Gomu”. 5.6 billion also makes a lot of sense since Roger's reward is just below that at 5,564,800,000 berries.

It would make 5.6 billion Luffy the most wanted man in the worldwhich is fitting for the future pirate king and the man to fight and take down Ima.
