This article contains spoilers for One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
One piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, and this is where most of the Straw Hat Pirates will continue their next power-ups. Luffy must get stronger as his Conqueror's Haki improves Zoro and Sanji decided to upgrade their Haki also.
It's getting better for Zoro though Haki isn't the only power-up in One piece. At his core, Zoro is a swordsman and his greatest powerhouses come when he does his thing stronger swords. Fortunately, Zoro has a lot of power-up potential when it comes to his new swords, and Oda has already prepared his next sword power-up.
Zoro's Sandai Kitetsu is the weak link

Sandai Kitetsu Is Wazamono Blade
When it comes down to it Zoro's swordsfans are well aware that he frequently upgrades his blades. When he started his journey with Luffy, he didn't have any great swords except Wado Ichimonjiwhich he inherited from Kuina after her death. in Loguetown, Zoro got his hands on Yubashiri and Sandai Kitetsu. Unfortunately, Yubashiri was lost in Enies Lobbyand Zoro accepted Shusui in the Thriller Bark arc.
Is it… Kitetsu? — Zoro and Nusjuro see each other's Kitetsu swords
Upon Shusui's return to the land of Wano, Zoro received Enma as an upgrade. It is clear that Zoro is always willing to take stronger blades with him. Right now, Zoro's blades are quite powerful, but there is one exception — the Sandai Kitetsu.
When I was little, I thought to myself: Man, I would really like to draw a manga with the most famous final stage! I wonder if I can do it! Now we only have a small piece of the Wano arc left, the preparations are almost done. Took me 25 years lol. That said, it's okay to start reading from this point. Because from this moment on…it will be… ONE PIECE!! Mysteries of this world, I will draw them all! It will be super interesting! Fasten your seat belt! And please stay with me a little longer! — Eiichiro Oda, author of One Piece, 2022
Some fans may already know this, but Sandai Kitetsu is Zoro's weakest blade. It is a Wazamono Grade sword, placing it below both Emma and Wado Ichimonji. It is this blade that Zoro must replace.
Zoro gets the Nidai Kitetsu in the future
Nidai Kitetsu was created by Kozuki Sukiyaki
One thing is certain Zoro must hold on to the Kitetsu blade. This is because eventually Zoro will have to fight Nusjur, and when he does, Kitetsu will face him. But Sandai Kitetsu is too weak in comparison. Instead, if Zoro has to do a Kitetsu battle with Nusjur while also upgrading his swords, then the most logical solution would be to use Nidai Kitetsu.
Bye, Luffy. I sense a strange presence from that blade. May I take a look at it? — Zoro asks Luffy to hand over the Nidai Kitetsu
Nidai Kitetsu was created by the former shogun of Wano, Kozuki SukiyakiOden's father. It is his best creation and certainly a very powerful sword. Zoro would have to take it eventually or it would be wasted and it was highly unlikely that Oda would allow it.
The Kitetsu Sword Duel is about to unfold
In order for Zoro to obtain the Nidai Kitetsu, The Sandai Kitetsu must break. This could very well happen in Elbaf or maybe in the arc after that. This would be a good way for Oda to make Zoro train harder. The only one who can give Zoro the Nidai Kitetsu is Sukiyaki, which means Zoro will get to him during the Final War, where he will most likely meet the Wano Country samurai again. This will allow Zoro to become even stronger and also give him the opportunity to blacken all the blades.
The next chapter of One Piece will be released this week. As usual, One Piece drops on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops Monday at 12pm JST. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on November 2nd. Fans can read the chapter for free on Manga Plus.o
