It's unbelievable how Mass Effect has enjoyed enduring relevance for nearly two decades, despite such a small number of releases in recent years. Besides Mass Effect: Andromeda2021 Legendary edition (a re-release of the original trilogy and a remaster of the first game) remains the most recent video game release in the series. Even Mass Effect: AndromedaThe lukewarm reception failed to dampen enthusiasm for the series' future.

Mass Effect EDI and Thane Figures will drop in 2027
According to Dark Horse Direct, two new ones Mass Effect figures are officially on their way in 2027. The company announced faithful PVC recreations of EDI and Thane Krios, standing at 8.6 and 8.75 inches tall, respectively. Both characters portray the look of their characters throughout Mass Effect trilogy, with EDI not physically appearing until the third game. The level of detail on both is incredible and can really be seen on Thane in particular, which captures the different textures on his clothing quite stunningly.
Of the two, Thane is probably the more fan favorite, but both are among the less central characters in the game Mass Effect series. It's great to see them brought to life like this. Both PVC figures will cost $59.99 each and are expected to be released in January-February 2027.
Dark Horse Direct has been an excellent source of great video game figures for some time now, with many brands under its banner including Border, Cyberpunk, Haloand others. Just recently, Dark Horse even announced the news Fallout figure set to release around the same time as Thane and EDI. It's great to have options, and it's also great that Dark Horse figures are quite affordable for their quality.

However, very little is known about it at the moment. Mass Effect 5The director 's recently confirmed that work on the game is continuing, which is a good sign that things are continuing in the background. Despite this, fans shouldn't expect a release date for the game anytime soon.
