As of September 2025, Nintendo Switch 2 sales in Japan are estimated to have eclipsed 2 million units sold, marking another significant achievement for the console in its debut year. Global sales continue to grow, and analysts expect another key boost to come from holiday sales during November and December. It remains to be seen how many Switch 2 consoles will be sold by the end of 2025, but it seems that Nintendo is taking early action and preparing for the first months of 2026.
