Ocarina of Time Remake officially changes the Hylian Shield

Coming Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has changed the Hylian Shield from how it looked in the original game, based on a new trailer released by Nintendo. Opinions on the move are mixed among fans Ocarina of Timewith some preferring the original look.

The silver edge of the shield is also more ornate than the original Ocarina of Time version. The master sword has also been updated, with gold decoration now on the hilt instead of underneath, and the sword's hilt is wrapped as a modern version of the iconic weapon.

Surprisingly, this is the first time that Ocarina of Time the shield has been significantly changed. Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS remarkably retained the original shield design, albeit with a graphical upgrade.
