WITH Minecraft players who have been in the market for over a decade have seen strange bugs appear in the game. Bugs in a popular title can come in many different forms, from small visual glitches to major issues that can change. Minecraft player world to bright pink Barbie land. Regardless of how these bugs appear in the game, they are often found after an update or patch. Despite a lot of testing by the developers to make sure everything works as intended, some bugs still manage to sneak into the game for the player base to discover later.

As shared on Reddit by hdgdhdhdhdj and a few others, and also reported on Mojang's bug tracker, water appears to appear as black blocks in Minecraft for some players. This bug only affects those playing the mobile version of the game, and while it appears to have been an issue since August, there has been a huge spike in reports of it following the latest big Minecraft Bedrock update. Water isn't the only block type to suffer from this bug, with other transparent blocks such as glass also appearing black to players. While there is no fix yet, the developers are hard at work on a solution.

Although this bug affects players on the mobile version Minecraft, does not affect all mobile versions of the game. Because the problem deals with how water and other transparent blocks are rendered Minecraftthe error is related to the graphics processor that the player uses. On any mobile device equipped with a Samsung Xclipse GPU, players will see transparent blocks as black because the GPU renders these blocks as solid objects and therefore does not take their transparent properties into account when rendering.

The developers are currently working on a full fix, just like they would with any weird Minecraft error. Players are encouraged to report any new issues they find in the game to Mojang's bug tracking website. Meantime, Minecraft players can still enjoy playing the mobile version of the game if they don't mind their water looking a bit darker than usual.
