The only way to get pack points is by opening booster packs. Each time you open a non-action pack, you get five pack points. This is true whether packs are opened with free Stamina, Hourglass, or microtransaction currencies like Poke Gold. The five point reward is fixed and does not vary between packs.

Pack Point Cap and Availability

pokemon tcg pocket pack point cap.

IN pokemon pocketPack points are tied to specific expansions and booster packs. You can earn and spend these points as long as the corresponding packs and expansions are available. Once an expansion like Genetic Apex is retired, the corresponding pack points will be removed from your account.

The game explains this mechanic as follows: “If the availability period for a given booster pack ends, its Pack Points will no longer be available for exchange.” Therefore, it is essential to spend all your points before the booster pack set expires. (Players are likely to be notified in advance so they don't lose their accumulated points.)

Currently, the Pack Point closure inwards pokemon pocket is 2,500. Any packs opened after reaching this limit do not award additional pack points. To avoid wasting rewards, it is recommended to create some missing cards before proceeding to open other packs.

The best cards to craft with deck points

The packing points are best used to craft cards that enhance your decks. Focus on a specific build and use Pack Points as backup to fill in the gaps. For example, if you're building a Mewtwo ex Deck, open Mewtwo decks to collect key cards while saving deck points to make basic cards that you can't draw.

For top investment, consider making Giovanni, Sabrina, or Misty. These META backers are key pokemon pocket PvP packs and can greatly improve your performance.

If your supporter lineup is complete, spend Pack Points on former Pokémon to gain access to additional META packs. Cards like Moltres ex are versatile options that allow for more consistent PvP builds.

Alternatively, invest in rare cards that you don't need immediately. WITH PocketTrading features on the horizon, extra rare Pokémon can be traded with other players to help you complete your Pokedex more efficiently.
