PlayStation fans pick their favorite games of the year

PlayStation it's been a massive 2024, and the PlayStation Blog awards have been released, highlighting the games that fans adored the most this year. The award from PlayStation comes a week after Geoff Keighley's 2024 Game Awards stunned fans with revelations such as The Witcher 4the return of two beloved Capcom franchises v Onimusha and Eyesand Naughty Dog's big new IP, Intergalactic: The Heretical Prophet. Looking ahead, Sucker Punch's Ghost of Yotei is the most anticipated game of PlayStation gamers for 2025 and beyond Marvel's Wolverine, Death Stranding 2: On the Beachand Capcom Monster Hunter Wilds. PS Blog explained Grand Theft Auto 6's absence from the category, with the same game not being able to win two years in a row.

With 2024 almost in the books, PlayStation fans are no doubt looking forward to what 2025 holds. Ghost of Yotei and Kojima Productions Death Stranding 2 will surely be the heaviest PlayStation gamers. Both games have vague release windows of 2025, so fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out when they can get their hands on these promising-looking triple-A blockbuster titles.
