Pokemon Gen 10 Ride Mechanics Leaks, Scrapped Features, New Image

This article contains possible spoilers for Pokémon Gen 10

Pokemon The Gen 10 leaks detail the games signature driving mechanism along with a new image, and several features, including MMO-like ones, have reportedly been dropped. With the massive drop in information from TeraLeak last year, fans believed that the leaks for Pokemon Gen 10 and future games would be out of the question, but a lot of new information surfaced online in early October. With all of these leaks coming from the same source, including official documents from GameFreak's internal development plans, it seems that the next set of games for the series already has many features revealed.

Although it is not clear what Pokemon The beginnings of Gen 10 will be, since the only leaks regarding them have to do with how players will get their first Pokémon partner, there have been a few other meaningful leaks such as:

Although these leaks were considered credible as they were part of the Gen 10 game lineup, it appears that the current lineup of games has already changed significantly in various ways. No mention was made of the title Gen 10 as Pokemon wind and wavebut some of the previous leaks may no longer apply.

If true, Centro Leaks shared a new Gen 10 image on Twitter that shows what appears to be a Pokemon trainer using the new Rotom Scooter, similar to Pokemon Gen 8 Rotom Bike. This tool will reportedly be used to travel around the map on land, and can be attached to Pokemon that have what is called an “energy leash” that will allow the Rotom Scooter to gain the ability to pass through these creatures. Flying pokemon will let Rotom Scooter fly and slide, water pokemon will let it ride waves or even go underwater, and so on.

Additionally, some of the previous leaks are said to no longer be accurate Pokemon Gen 10's mechanics and scope have changed since then. Centro Leaks states that:

  • Pokemon Gen 10 was originally created from exploration, MMO-like mechanics, and procedural generation.

    • Procedural generation was edited and transformed into a separate project, which was later also canceled and from which Pokopia was born.

    • The MMO-like features were also seemingly dropped from Gen 10 and transferred to a separate project, a previously leaked MMO covering all regions from Gen 1 to Gen 4.

  • Pokemon The Gen 10 ride mechanic will not be available to all Pokemon as previously stated, and Pokemon will not ride themselves.

    • No mention of the ability to pet all Pokemon was made.

  • Pokemon The leaked Gen 10 build includes a bag pocket for Mega Stones, suggesting that Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Evolutions can return outside Pokemon Champions. However, there were no Mega Stones in the build.

It's unclear at this stage what else may or has already changed, but it appears that the settings and titles will remain, as well as the core mechanics of Weather Moves and Switch 2 exclusives. The same leaks state that no gyms will be present, and that players could technically encounter the game's final “boss” immediately after leaving the first island, making them able to roll credits and “beat” the game early. However, it appears that procedural generation for islands and the leaked “Seed Pokemon” won't be in Gen 10, and neither will the MMO-like features.
