Pokemon Leaker Teases Legends ZA Starters May Come With a Twist

Ahead of release Pokemon Legends: ZAa few celebrities Pokemon leakers point to the starting trio of Gen 6 holding together as starters for their second game. While Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin are expected by some to be options for players' first Pokémon in Pokemon Legends: ZArumor has it they will come with a twist.

Pokemon Legends: ZA was announced for the Nintendo Switch in late February following the success of 2022 Pokemon Legends: Arceus. A leak from late October suggested that the starting trio had entered Pokemon Legends: ZA will again consist of Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin, the three Pokemon available at the start of the original pair of games set in the Kalos region. Shared by prominent Pokemon leaker CentroLeaks, this rumor has now been reinforced as a new post on their Twitter account now claims that a mysterious message from a colleague Pokemon leaker Riddler Khu alludes to the Gen-6 starters sticking around as starters for the upcoming ones Legends game. However, according to CentroLeaks, a message from Riddler Khu suggests that the returning appetizers will have “something different” in them.

Pokemon Legends ZA Starters Rumored as Altered Gen-6 Starters

If the rumors turn out to be true, it's likely that all three starter Pokemon will get new designs and types. Starters in Pokemon Legends: Arceus — Rowlett, Cyndaquil, and Oshawatt — all originally came from different generations, and none of them started in a region where both Legends: Arceus and triplets Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum were set.
