Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Reveal Seven-Star Tera Raid Battle in Torterra (Mid November 2024)
- Torterra the Unrivaled will appear in Seven-Star Tera Raids from November 14-17
- The second round will take place from November 21 to 24 Pokemon coaches who missed the first weekend.
- Torterra the Unrivaled will be a Tera-Ground type and will carry the most powerful mark.
- Grass Pokemon are recommended to overcome Torterra's strong attacks.
Like the previous bosses, Torterra the Unrivaled will have a Hidden Ability available. In this case, Torterra will have Shell Armor to protect her from critical hits. This hidden ability was previously included Pokemon Scarlet and Violetduring the Tera 2023 March Raids against Samurott the Unrivaled. However, Shell Armor can be removed with moves like Skill Swap, Worry Seed, and Gastro Acid. Even without Shell Armor, Torterra the Unrivaled can still use grass and ground attacks, with the latter type gaining a power boost from Terastalization. Although flying Pokemon are immune to moves like Earthquake, Torterra can counter Rock-type attacks like Stone Edge.
Given the Ground-type's weakness to strong Grass Pokémon, a team with creatures like Serperior and Appletun could prove useful. Only time will tell what strategies Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players evolve.
