Headlining the PS Plus offer for January 2025 is none other than Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice LeagueRocksteady's latest addition to its own Arkhamverse. As a live service game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had a really rough time appealing to the better interests of players prior to its release, and failed to maintain a core mainstream audience even after its release. Still, perhaps the fact that it will now be available via PS Plus will give gamers a reason to check it out, even if it's just for a little while. in the core Kill the Justice League is a fun action game, despite being let down by its live service model and succumbing to repetitive gameplay and lackluster level design.
Set after five years Baman: Arkham Knight, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League follows the titular Suicide Squad – consisting of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark – brought together by Amanda Waller to stop Brainiac's invasion of Metropolis. Brainiac brainwashed members of the Justice League, including Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman, effectively turning them from heroes to villains, and the Suicide Squad was tasked with destroying them. During gameplay, players can switch between each of the four characters in both solo and co-op modes.
