Recent news hasn't been too positive for Quantic Dream, the studio behind the highly anticipated Star Wars Eclipsebut a new statement from the company says the game is going ahead as planned regardless. Star Wars Eclipse was announced nearly five years ago, and since then Quantic Dream has been remarkably quiet about the project.

Amidst expected layoffs and an ongoing developer strike, Quantic Dream released a statement to IGN claiming that Star Wars Eclipse he is still on track and has everything he needs to reach his goal. While several developers on strike claim completion Star Wars Eclipse is conditioned by 115 laid off Chronicles of Wizards employees are looking for a new home at Eclipse the Quantic Dream team claims that these developers have no influence on the status of the project or its completion. The French studio closes its statement by saying its priority is to ensure support and care for all affected employees as they leave, and declines to comment further.
