Since its release in 2024, Solo Leveling has become so massive that every new generation anime fan has heard of it. After an incredibly successful run with a first season in January 2024 and a second season in January 2025, it has established dominance in the next generation anime publishing department. However, Solo Leveling doesn't just dominate in the anime department. His video game Solo Leveling: Arise is equally popular.
On May 8, 2024, Solo Leveling officially got its biggest video game yet — Solo Alignment: Stand Up. Solo Leveling Arise is a PC and mobile game from Netmarble that brings the full potential of the series. As Arise is a gacha style game, you can always look forward to new updates and content. Recently, Solo Leveling Arise announced the release of a new Hunter to the roster. On June 2, 2026, during Solo leveling rise June Live stream, developers announced Agnes Rivera. Now, on June 25th, 2026, her production has officially ended, as confirmed in the last post on X, and we have confirmation that she is heading to Solo Leveling Arise on July 2nd, 2926.
Agnes Rivera is not the first Dark Hunter in the game. This category also includes the protagonist of the story, Sung Jinwoo, who is, however, the very first Dark Buster Hunter. The Buster Hunter is a brand new class that debuted with Liu Zhigang in June, so it's exciting to see it already expanded with a new character. Her main abilities seem to be Body Enhancement and Dark Fogs. How it plays out in the game remains to be seen.

We don't know much about Agnes Rivera at this point, but we do know that she is a guild master from Italy – the Italian Rivera guild. With Solo Leveling's story largely focused on Asia and North America, this new reveal makes Agnes one of the few relevant European hunters, as well as the very first Italian hunter. Solo Leveling Arise described Agnes as “bold, arrogant, and at times cunning,” and we can see that through her brief dialogue in her trailer video. It will be released in-game with an alternate “Omertà in Paradise” skin for the summer event. She is definitely a hunter that many like to unlock and use in battle.

We are all extremely excited to welcome this new Italian hunter to Solo Leveling Arise. She's definitely a unique hunter, and thankfully she drops out early in the game. While it was first announced in early June, work on it is now officially complete and ready to be released to us. Agnes Rivera will be included in the upcoming Solo Leveling Arise update on July 2nd, 2026. This update is just a few days away, and what's even more exciting is that she's not releasing alone. More content is officially coming along with it in the July update.
While Agnes is the highlight, Jinwoo also gets one of his iconic Shadows into play – Greed, Shadow of S-Rank Hunter Hwang Dongsoo. The forum detailing the update also revealed that The New Daily Essence Stone Boost will be discontinued for the time being. It's being replaced by something newly redesigned, so we're excited to see what's in store for Solo Leveling Arise. Players can also expect the inclusion of a Dark Hunter balance buff and other bonus stuff like new skins and gameplay improvements. With the July update almost out, we can't wait to see what's next for the game and which new character will be added in the next update after this one.
Agnes Rivera stands as a powerful S-Rank hunter rivaling the highest ranks
Agnes Rivera has a high position among Italian hunters, she is the guild master of a prestigious guild. The Rivera Guild is a huge guild-like association, and being at the top of it reflects its power, but despite its power and position, it still cares for its members as if they were its own family. But more interestingly, Agnes Rivers' character card from Solo Leveling Arise reveals a shocking fact. It is the new S-Rank Hunter. This of course makes sense as most Guild Masters of major guilds are often S-Rank. This is reflected in the guilds of South Korea and other countries, and it makes sense that Italy would be the same.
This means that Agnes is not only a new Dark Huntress, but also an S Rank, making her a powerhouse and possibly the strongest known hunter from the European continent to date, with the absence of a European national level hunter.
Sadly, as with any character added to Solo Leveling: Arise that wasn't present in Chugong's original web novel, Agnes Rivera is not a canon character. Her character will be an interesting addition to the Arise universe, but she doesn't exist in the actual Solo Leveling universe. Either way, we can't wait to see how her story unfolds and learn more about her personality through Solo Leveling: Arise dialogue once her character drops on Thursday, July 2, 2026. She might be one of the most interesting original additions to the game, and judging by fan reactions, she's already looking like a fan favorite.
