Roblox is getting its first “virtual red carpet” experience. [EXCLUSIVE]

Gracie & Pedro: Pets to the rescue is a family animated comedy directed by Kevin Donovan and Gottfried Roodt. The film has already debuted in the UK as Gracie and Pedro: Mission Impossible and will soon hit the silver screens in the United States as well.

Before the film's release in the states, Second Chance Productions launched a new Roblox experience styled as a Gracie and Pedro red carpet event, which Game Rant can now exclusively reveal. Promotional content drop offers Roblox players have the opportunity to dress up and play as Hollywood-style movie premiere attendees, complete with red carpet photo opportunities and all the other trappings normally associated with such occasions.

The newly launched experience also includes themed theaters that allow players to immerse themselves in a variety of games Roblox mini-games and get rewards for it. These activities vary depending on the exact theater that players choose to visit when exploring the event's multiplex location. Each minigame follows on from Gracie and Pedro conspire in some way. In terms of collectibles, players can get things like themed clothing and snacks, in addition to some other surprises. As you'd expect from a red carpet event, the experience also offers some exclusive glimpses into the film itself.

Additionally, the event builds on Second Chance Productions' ongoing campaign to raise awareness of animal welfare and pet adoption, which the company runs in partnership with select nonprofits and animal shelters. This message underscores the film's central themes of friendship, family, and the special bond people share with their pets.

Gracie & Pedro: Pets to the rescue is scheduled to open in US theaters on October 18. The animated buddy comedy boasts an all-star cast that includes Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, Oscar nominee Bill Nighy, and Hollywood regulars Brooke Shields, Danny Trejo, Alicia Silverstone, Al Franken. The title characters of Gracie the Cocker Spaniel and Pedro the British Shorthair are played by Claire Alan and Cory Doran. The film follows this furry duo as they learn to put aside their differences on the way to finding their way home.
