How to unlock Nightmare Crownless in WuWa

Nightmare Crownless is one of the new versions of Nightmare Echoes of the Overlord class Stormy waves. Unlike its regular counterpart, this one offers bonus Havoc DMG and Basic Attack DMG, making it an excellent choice for certain characters.

Like other Nightmare Echoes v Stormy wavesNightmare Crownless can be spawned from its overworld spawn point. But before you can grapple with this shiny spear user, you have to do that first complete the Ruins Where Shadows Roam quest and then one extra step. Here's what you need to do to unlock Nightmare Crownless.

Ruins Where Shadows Roam Quest Guide

This is not your typical thing WooWa search. Instead of being given by an NPC or an interactable object in the world, you'll find Ruins Where Shadows Roam in Menu Exploration progress for the Penitent's End area in Rinascita. You can get here by opening the map and clicking on the compass icon in the upper left corner, right next to the name of your current location.

Ruins Where Shadows Roam goes hand in hand with Quest of Faithan optional quest that involves defeating four enemies in specific areas of the Penitent's End region. To start, go to the Resonance Beacon via the broken bridge in Wailing Ascent, then interact with the challenge that appears near the circular arena next to the beacon. Will this start a fight against a Questless Knight similar to the ones in Silver Moon? Crimson Moon? search in WooWa.

To defeat the knights, you must lure them to stand near the lit Macabre Torch in the arena. Torches can be rekindled by baiting enemies with Fae Ignis to hit them. Be careful not to create any striking skills near the torches as you could put them out.

How to unlock Nightmare Crownless in WuWa

After completing Ruins Where Shadows Roam and Quest of Faith you will have to find all four dream patrols in Penitent's End. You don't have to complete any of these challenges, but if you want to get more resources and Monnaie WooWayou'll want to finish them all regardless. The locations of these dream patrols are pictured above. Once you find all the patrols, Nightmare Crownless will become visible on the map. You can find it in the ruins north of Penitent's End.

It's worth noting that Nightmare Echoes use Enhanced Absorption charges, which greatly increase the drop rate of Echoes. Players only get 15 of these charges per week, so if you plan to build multiple characters, try not to spend them all in one place.
