Solo leveling Season 2 officially ended in March 2025 with an adaptation of the Jeju Island arc, considered by many to be one of its best. Through this arc, Sung Jinwoo reached the very top in South Korea, gaining enough power to defeat even the Ant King and later promoting him as a shadow in his own Shadow Army, naming him Beru. Sung Jinwoo continued to grow in popularity after this event and will continue to evolve from now on in Solo Leveling Season 3.

The very first arc after the end of Solo Leveling Season 2 will be the Recruitment arc, but there will be no new Jinwoo shadows. It's the Ahjin Guild arc that starts shortly after and includes chapters 111 to 122 in the official webtoon manhwa that gives Jinwoo his very first new shadow from Beru. In this new arc, Sung Jinwoo will come face to face with Boss Naga and be able to deal with the threat he poses relatively effortlessly. Immediately after, Jinwoo raises his shadow to serve him and names this shadow Jim. While Jima is certainly the new Shadow, that doesn't necessarily mean it's the most exciting. In fact, Jima is one of Sung Jinwoo's most stunning shadows and one that fans dislike. Despite this, he is reliable and initially serves as an Elite Knight Grade Shadow in the story.

All Powers And Abilities Of Jim
Since Jima was created using a Naga boss, it is obvious that this shadow has the body of a giant snake. Jima also features claws that can tear enemies apart, expanding his arsenal for use in battle. When first acquired, Jima is definitely not the strongest Shadow and would not be able to compete with the advanced S-Rank hunters in Korea. As with the other Shadows, Jima will continue to grow alongside Sung Jinwoo and eventually reach a very high level of power.
Jima also has incredible physical strength at his disposal, which serves as his main weapon. In battle, his strength is such that he can easily one-shot even someone as strong as a giant, something that many in the Solo Leveling world would struggle with even among S-Ranks. Jima also has the ability to regenerate, and this also adds a unique twist to his arsenal of weapons. Again, his skill set isn't the most impressive, which is one of the reasons why he isn't one of Sung Jinwoo's most memorable shadows. Still, it's a new addition that fans will absolutely love to see in Solo Leveling Season 3.

Another shadow of Sung Jinwoo after Jim might come in season 4
It is unclear at this time how much content Solo Leveling Season 3 will adapt. Adaptation of Recruitment arc, Ajin Guild arc, Double Dungeon arc and possibly Japan Crisis arc should be expected in Season 3. Considering how little of the story is left. It's highly likely that the next big shadow Jinwoo gets will come in season 4 of the anime, which is nowhere close at this point.
After Jim, Sung Jinwoo obtains Shadow Greed, and this will come in the International Guild Conference Arc, which includes chapters 140 to 149 on the official website. Greed will be quite a powerful shadow unlike Boss Jima and will definitely leave a very strong impression on fans, especially when they find out where he comes from. With the vast abilities at his disposal, Greed is sure to be the highlight of Solo Leveling Season 4 or any other adaptation made in the future.
How Jinwoo gets greedy
Jinwoo officially gets Greed in chapter 147 of the manhwa and this shadow comes from Hwang Dongsoo, a character that fans have already seen in the first two seasons of the anime. Hwang Dongsoo is the older brother of Hwang Dongsuk, who was already killed by Jinwoo. Dongsoo had previously run into Sung Il-Hwan, lost badly to him in battle, and was warned against trying to confront Jinwoo and his family. Despite the warning, Hwang Dongsoo doesn't seem willing to listen.

When he faces Sung Jinwoo in battle, he loses the battle. One thing leads to another and he becomes one of Jinwoo's shadows. Despite trying to hurt Jinwoo and his family, Hwang Dongsoo is forced to serve him forever as a shadow, the perfect retribution for a character like himself.
Unfortunately, the ability and acquisition of this shadow won't happen anytime soon in the Solo Leveling anime. There is a small chance that this shadow will appear in Solo Leveling Season 3, but it is very slim. Regardless, his reveal will be very interesting whenever it comes, and it's something fans are eagerly awaiting.
