It has been officially confirmed that Overgeared is getting an adaptation by Japanese studio JC Staff. While the exact release date hasn't been revealed, we now know that it's coming in October 2026, which means it's only a few months away from its release date. Overgeared has a chance to become the biggest anime hit of 2026 based on Manhwa in the absence of solo leveling
When talking about popular Manhwa series turned anime, no series can compare to Chugong's Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling was officially released in January 2024 and shook the world by becoming the best series worldwide. Solo Leveling was a step in the right direction for the Manhwa series to grow and shine outside of its home country of South Korea. Fans are now expecting more awesome Manhwa series to be turned into anime, especially some of the big hits behind Studio Redice. The anime for ORV is coming in 2027, much to the excitement of thousands of fans. Tomb Raider King is another series from Redica and will get an anime even earlier in July 2026.
