New Honkai: Star Rail the leak revealed that Phainon, one of Amphoreus' upcoming characters, may have two different forms in the game, including a standard and a boss form. Honkai: Star Rail will soon introduce Amphoreus, the game's other main explorable planet that hosts the Crysos Heirs.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 will transport players to the world of Amphoreus, otherwise known as The Eternal Land. The update will introduce a new faction called the Crysos Heirs, which will likely play a key role in the next Trailblaze mission. As he revealed earlier Honkai: Star Railamong the Crysos Heirs is Phainon, a mysterious male character rumored to be playable in later patches. Very little is known about Phainon, but a recent leak points to his potential role in the game in version 3.0.

A recent leak from HomDGCat announced that Phainon will have a second form in the game called Demiurge. This second form could also be related to an enemy boss. Formerly Honkai: Star Rail leaks about Amphoreus characters indicated that Phainon and the other teased characters would eventually join the playable roster as 5-star units. If the rumors turn out to be true, Phainon would be both playable and an elite boss in the game. HomDGCat didn't detail whether or not Phainon's Demiurge form will change his human design, but Honkai: Star Rail regardless, he has experience using this two-formula formula. For example, characters like Argenti and Kafka are both playable units and enemy bosses, having the same game model for both scenarios. Meanwhile, Sunday's boss is a complete transformation of its normal playable model.
Who is Honkai: Star Rail's Phainon?
As an element of the HoYoverse multiverse, Honkai: Star Rail has several versions Honkai Impact 3 characters. These counterparts are known to fans as Expys. While Seele and Bronya keep their names in both games, other characters like Luocha only have their appearance as an indicator that they are Expys. Phainon bears a striking resemblance Honkai Impact 3is Kevin Kaslana, so players have speculated that he will be the next featured counterpart. Additionally, the Amphoreus trailer mentions that Phainon is to “embark on a great mission of deliverance.” Honkai Impact 3 players may remember that “Deliverance” is also Kevin Kaslana's codename, so that could be another reference to their link.
While Phainon is only rumored to be playable in the future, another Crysos Heirs member has been confirmed to join the roster in version 3.0.
