Many fans were surprised in the responses Honkai: Star Rail revealed a new path, especially since Remembrance is only available as a boon in the simulated universe. Others have also expressed their struggle with choosing between The Herta and Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail Banner version 3.0.
What does Aglaea being a commemorative character mean for Honkai: Star Rail?
It's been rumored for a while Honkai: Star Rail will introduce a new Path of Remembrance in version 3.0, with Trailblazer possibly adopting it for its next form. Some leakers suggest that Remembrance characters will have the unique ability to summon “servants” who have their own set of attacks and skills on the battlefield. Since Aglaea is a seamstress and her splash art features mannequins, it's possible that she might be able to summon one or more of them to help her in battle. HoYover has yet to be confirmed by the servant mechanic, but if true, it will be a first Honkai: Star Rail he incorporates it into his game. It will certainly be interesting to see how the mechanic could shift the meta and affect team composition in 3.0 and beyond.
Meantime, Honkai: Star Rail fans will have to wait until December for the official stream of the special program version 3.0, which will tease additional Trailblaze Continuance Missions, Amphoreus locations, and the full set of Aglaea and The Herta.
