Something that completely caught me by surprise in Baldur's Gate 3 was how Gale reacted when I started bumping into the ugly people in the camp – I thought we were a bunch of worm-brained adventurers enjoying what little morsel of life we had left before the Absolute crawled out of our skulls and turned us into giant tentacles. And yet, when I slept with Shadowheart, he lost his mind.
It got me thinking: what else can I do to bulldoze the morale of this party? So I put it with the emperor and the disgust was so pungent that it was clear. silhouettes of my teammates how upset they were. I then let Mizora take me and Wyll wasn't too happy about the pact. My virtual D&D campaign spiraled into a shipwreck simulator.
Shoving yourself into a hornet's nest in a video game and watching everyone turn on you is a special satisfaction, but it's pretty rare to find when so much romance is hidden under the guise of cozy games. Luckily, Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe is “open” to the idea of letting you cheat on your spouse, and it's spreading fast in Pelican Town – plenty of opportunities to bulldoze.
“Everyone would hate you,” said Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone in an interview with GameInformer (via GamesRadar+ ). “It would cause a lot of chaos, disaster and suffering, people would be angry and you would destroy the family […] I would be open to doing something like that. But I wouldn't tell people about it. It would have very serious consequences.”

So where's the divorce update? I want to laboriously collect food to lure Penny, only to turn around and cheat on her with Sebastian and turn the whole town against me. If giving grandma all the junk I steal from her bins doesn't make me hate her, maybe housebreaking will.
While Barone is “open to” the idea, he's a little worried about what the players might think. “Part of me is like, 'Maybe it's too real,'” Barone said. “Maybe Stardew Valley is supposed to be an escape from that sort of thing. It's too realistic, you know?”
Maybe one day we'll cheat on our spouse (referring to Clint), but for now Barone is still considering the idea.
