World My Hero Academia created by Kohei Horikoshi introduced us to quite a few powerful Quirks. Over the years, fans have seen some of the most incredible powers illustrated, but at the same time, there are also stunning Quirks in this story, which makes sense because not every power is going to be extremely special.
While each Quirk is unique in its own way, there are some that just aren't that useful and don't provide any benefit to the user at all.

Gecko
Gecko is a Quirk used by Spinner, one of the lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. This Quirk allows him to turn into a lizard and the only ability he gains is to be able to stick to everyone. Whichever way fans look at this piece, it's rather pointless. Of course, this Quirk was strengthened by All For One considerably later. However, in its original form, the Quirk hardly offers any significant upgrade.

Gas
The Gas Quirk is a completely unique ability My Hero Academia that one would think he is quite strange. This is because this work allows a gas to be produced which, when inhaled, can instantly put you to sleep and cause internal damage. However, the user himself must wear a mask at all times.
In addition, the user cannot actually limit the gas flow. They can only produce gas from their body, which then spreads over a larger area. Another major weakness of this Quirk is that it can be easily masked and even the smallest of attacks can destroy the user, making it extremely easy to counter, even for children.

Pop Off
Pop Off is Mineta's quirk and allows him to create sticky balls from his scalp that he can use in a number of ways. He can use it to gain extra leverage in combat or to bombard his enemies. While they may come in handy, they don't offer many benefits. Plus, he can't use them indefinitely in battle. The more he pulls, the more damage to his scalp. If he overdoes it, he might even start bleeding from the head, which just goes to show that this Quirk isn't really that special.

Telescopic
One of the most bizarre Quirks to be introduced My Hero AcademiaTelescopic allows the user to retract body parts into themselves, much like a turtle does with its shell. The user ends up looking like a bizarre individual and this Quirk just isn't that useful.
At best, the user can dodge some of the attacks aimed at him and catch the opponent once. Overall, this is one of the most unnecessary Quirks fans have seen in My Hero Academia, and it doesn't make much of a difference if the Quirk doesn't exist.

Quirk donation
Yoichi's Quirk is quite interesting. Fans know that he was the first user of One For All and that the Quirk itself is one of the strongest in the entire series, if not the strongest. However, Yoichi originally had a Quirk that could be transferred from one person to another. This was half of what later became known as One For All.
Yoichi's Quirk was useless on its own. The only thing it could do was get transferred to another person and it wouldn't offer them anything at all. No matter how fans look at it, the original Quirk he had was completely useless. It wasn't until All For One gave him a Quirk to build up his power that he eventually spawned One For All, which then became one of the most powerful Quirks in the entire series.

Sliding Quirk
The sliding Quirk that uses Slidin' Go is an unnamed meta ability that fans have seen a few times in the series. He was also exposed in the fight between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army.
Fans have seen Slidin' Go use this Quirk, allowing him to slide across surfaces for long distances. That's all Quirk does, and while it's certainly a very fun power to use and would be useful when it comes to travel, in a world where everything is ruled by heroes and villains, it doesn't do much more.
1
Mushroom
Mushroom is an ability that has both advantages and disadvantages. Basically, a Quirk user can spawn spores and create mushrooms from anywhere. This Quirk can also be used to choke, making it a dangerous weapon.
However, the downside of this Quirk is that it takes quite a while for feuds to spread, and at the same time, there should be an ideal environment for this Quirk to show its true colors. Without it, the Mushroom Joke isn't even worth using. However, even if it does work in the end, average individuals can easily counter it, making it extremely overwhelming.
