Mythic Uniques are some of the most powerful weapons Diablo 4but they are also among the rarest items in the game. A big part every season Diablo 4 players' time is spent grinding for the Mythics needed to complete their build. However with the latest patch Diablo 4 Season 13, one Mythic farming resource has drastically increased your chance of dropping these coveted items.
A new Mythic was added with the release Diablo 4: Lord of Hatredwhich gives Season 13 players a new item to chase. El'druin Sword of Justice is the weapon that Tyrael wields in the Lord of Hatred campaign, but it can also be a fantastic addition to a player's build, with its unique ability to reduce the player's cooldowns when killing elites. Some of the usual suspects are also meta-contenders like Heir of Doom, Grandfather, and Ring of the Starless Sky, so it's worth farming for Mythics in Diablo 4's endgame regardless of the player's build.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred's Paladin is officially one of a kind
With the release of Lord of Hatred, Diablo 4's Paladin class has now solidified itself as a standout member of the game's class roster.
The Butcher Lair Boss from Diablo 4 Season 13 is an ideal myth source
The Bloodied Butcher is the latest Lair Boss to join Diablo 4introduced last season as part of Season of Slaughter. In the beginning Diablo 4 Season 13 Bloodied Butcher was way too powerful, killing way too much damage to be reliably farmed for Uniques in his boss Loot Table or even Mythics. After release Diablo 4In the latest update, Bloodied Butcher has been nerfed and his mythic drop rate has seemingly been increased as well, making him the perfect spot for a final Mythic grind.

In addition to the general pool of Uniques, the Bloodied Butcher also drops a number of class-specific Uniques. With how powerful the barbarian is Diablo 4 Season 13, farming Bloodied Butcher for Mythics can be a good idea as the boss can also drop Ramaladni's Magnum Opus and Chainscourged Mail which are useful for Barbarian players. For Warlock players, many new Uniques have dropped from Bloodied Butcher, so building volatility-focused builds with Uniques like Moloch's Beating Flame.
How to get Mythic Drops from Butcher in Diablo 4 Season 13
Myths usually only have a small chance to drop from Lair Bosses, but Bloodied Butcher seems to offer a higher chance than usual. After defeating the Bloodied Butcher, the Hoard Chest becomes available and requires the Greater Lair Key for players to access the goods inside. There are Uniques and possible Mythics rewards in this chest, so players will want to make sure they get a few Greater Lair Keys from Warplans on Torment difficulty or from Lesser Lair bosses like The Beast in the Ice, Echo of Varshan, and Lord Zir before challenging the Bloodied Butcher.
For the best chance of getting a Mythic drop, players will want to farm Bloodied Butcher at Torment 10 or higher.
War plans can greatly increase the chance of getting mythic drops
While Bloodied Butcher already seems to have a fairly high chance of dropping Mythics at higher levels of Torment, players can increase their chances of getting a Mythic drop even more through the new War Plans Lord of Hatred feature. As players progress through war plans, they can unlock upgrades that allow them to invest in modifiers Diablo 4various end-game activities through the War Plans upgrade tree. With the right combination of upgrades on the Lair Boss tree, players can gain access to more Hoard Chests, which means more opportunities for Mythic drops.

Investing in the Lair of Plenty modifier on the left side of the Lair Boss upgrade tree gives players +1 Hoard Chest when they kill the Lair Boss. Additionally, investing in a mid lane upgrade tree unlocks the potential for Nemesis Lairs to spawn after defeating a standard Lair boss. Inside Nemesis Lairs, Diablo 4 players will have to defeat two different Lesser Lair bosses at once, but can get even more drops than before. With the Greater Nemesis upgrade, players have a chance to face two Greater Lair bosses at once after defeating the previous Nemesis Lair. This upgrade essentially allows players to stack Lair Boss fights on top of each other to earn increasingly valuable rewards, including 10 treasure chests once the Ultimate Nemesis Lair is unlocked.
Once all these upgrades are unlocked, Diablo 4 players have a crazy mythic farming journey. While it may take some time to upgrade Lair Boss War Plans to level 5 and unlock all the necessary modifiers, the reward of an easy mythic farming path is well worth it.
