7 Sylvian Glade
Where rainbows dance and peace wanders
- Requires: Base game
- Package size: 15 x 10
Sylvian Glade is a hidden world in the base game that is often overlooked by players. Those looking to find it must travel to the Crick Cabana property in Willow Creek and find a large tree that looks a little out of place. In order for players to unlock the 'Explore' option, their Sims must spam the 'View', 'Water', 'Leaf Bow' and 'Root Chat' interactions. After a Sim enters a tree, they must “Follow the sound“,” “Traveling downstream“,” “Enter the Mist” and finally “Travel to the GladeSims with the Wellness skill above level seven can teleport to the Sylvian Glade while meditating without ever interacting with the tree.
This peaceful world is full of lush greenery, picturesque rainbow ponds and waterfalls complete with sound effects. Players can build a wedding venue or a secret house on a small 15 x 10 lot. There isn't much to do besides fishing and collecting unusual plants and frogs. Its beauty is not enough to save it from a low rating. There are other important factors to consider.
6 The Forgotten Cave

Similar to Sylvian Glade, there is a small lot for players to build upon if they so choose. What sets Grotto a step above Sylvian Glade is the mysterious wooden toilet, which is the only interactive item, and the opportunity to discover the rare batfish that are native to this world.
5 Sixam
Enter neon realms where aliens roam
- Requires: To work
- Package size: 20 x 20
Sixam, anadromous Maxis developer The Sims franchise, could be considered the most difficult world in the game. This hidden world is inhabited by aliens from the Get to Work expansion. What sets Sixam apart from the rest is its otherworldly nature, which requires a greater exercise of imagination to craft. It also offers a 20 x 20 lot to build on. The combination of wandering alien NPCs, neon blue and green hues, and surreal flora creates a unique atmosphere that sets this world apart from the rest.
There are two ways to get to Sixam. The easiest way to get there is to join the scientist career and make a wormhole generator with two elements, two unusual crystals and two unusual metals. The much more difficult way requires a level 10 rocket science skill and installing a wormhole generator on a rocket ship, which is expensive and time consuming. Like other hidden worlds, Sixam offers aliens and geodes for players to complete collections, as well as unique plants that can be brought back to the human world.
4 Headless Quarters
The sinister headquarters of the lucrative soul trade
- Requires: Life and death
- Package size: 20 x 20
The Headless Quarters, introduced in The Sims 4: Life and Death Expansion, is a terrifying hidden world where the Grim Reaper and his recruits report for duty. Players can lead their Sims into this dark but humorously decorated office for an active career in soul harvesting. This plot appears to be on top of a mountainous hill, surrounded by clouds, rocks and dead plants. A magical blue portal stands tall, ready to send souls to the Underworld.
The space is packed with darkly fun details, from employee of the month rankings to motivational posters and exercise mannequins that make it spooky and charming. While the Headless Quarters hangs a grim theme in the coffin, its smaller size and restricted access to only Grim and his Grimterns make it one of the more exclusive hidden worlds in the game. Players can only modify this lot with “bb.enablefreebuild” cheat and the lot type cannot be modified without mods.
3 Upper Komorebi Mountain
Treasure Trove in Winter's Hold
- Requires: A snowy escape
- Package size: 20 x 20
The world of Mount Komorebi is inspired by Japan's mountain islands and offers some of the most picturesque snowy scenery in The Sims 4especially in the Upper Mountains area. Players can edit the summit lot without cheats, but the lot assignment cannot be changed. Getting to the top of the mountain is quite challenging and time-consuming, but the stunning beauty and rewards it offers make the climb worthwhile.

1 Hermit's House / Deep Woods
Where the wilderness whispers and the magic of nature abounds
- Requires: Outdoor Retreat
