Alongside the new Warlock and Paladin classes and the new Skovos area, Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred also introduces a new Mythic Unique to the game's rarest drop pool. With access to Horadric Cube, equipment upgrade Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred has never been easier and players can easily take an average weapon and turn it into a powerhouse. However, even transfiguring affixes with the Horadric Cube won't do much for one classic Diablo 4 Mythic, which has been butchered to the point where it's practically unusable in most builds, and is much better than the new Mythic expansion.
Mythic Uniques are generally the best items Diablo 4but they are also the rarest. Typically, Mythics are farmed from Lair Bosses at high levels of Torment or created using Resplendent Sparks in Jeweler. IN Diablo 4 Season 13, getting Doombringer as a Mythic drop is one of the worst options a player can get, especially with the addition of El'druin Sword of Justice in Lord of Hatred.

One of the best Diablo 4 builds: Lord of Hatred Warlock basically turns you into Pac-Man
Diablo 4 players can feel like they're playing Pac-Man with this powerful Lord of Hatred Warlock build that focuses on devouring enemies.
Doombringer is basically worthless in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred
When it comes to finding the best gear in a slot for a particular user Diablo 4 Mythics will almost always trump any legendary or unique gear the player has. However, there are a few myths that fall short when compared to their counterparts. I carry the Herald, which was added in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatredhas historically been one of the worst mythics due to its subpar unique suffix and Spiritborn exclusivity. However, updates to certain mythics in Lord of Hatred pushed the Doombring One-Handed Sword significantly down the rankings.

At first glance, Doombringer appears to have received a buff, as his Unique Affix now has a higher chance on a lucky hit to deal even more Shadow damage and reduces damage taken by enemies by 5% more than before. However, this buff to Doombringer's Unique Affix doesn't make up for the fact that his other affixes have been severely nerfed. The previous 35% max health increase along with Lucky Hit's chance to heal over 2000 health were the main reasons to use this mythic. Now that they've been greatly reduced, there are essentially no builds that prefer this myth over the El'druin Sword of Justice as a one-handed weapon.
New El'Druin Sword of Justice myth surpasses Doombringer

+ 37.5% multiplier to all damage
+3 to all skills
Defeating an Elite pack will reduce your skill cooldown from 10 seconds to 12 seconds.
Lord of Hatred may have only introduced one new Mythic Diablo 4's list, but the El'druin Sword of Justice has already become one of the best mythic weapons in the game. El'druin grants 200 points to all stats, 40 points more than Doombringer, and the 3250 across-the-board increase to Maximum Life is comparable to the 15% increase in Maximum Life it also offers. In addition to these extensions, El'druin is also indestructible, so he will not need to be repaired Diablo 4's Blacksmith when it loses durability after the player's death.
The most significant advantage El'druin has over Doombringer is his unique affix. Reducing the Cooldowns of all skills by 10 seconds is huge for builds like Aura Paladin that rely on skills with Cooldowns, and beating an Elite deck is fairly easy when running Pit or Nightmare Dungeons, giving this Mythic an effect that will run often. With this weapon now a possible Mythic drop, the days of Doombringer slotting into a weapon slot are likely gone.
