One piece fans absolutely love the Elbaf arc and everything Oda has done with it. There is absolutely no denying the fact that this is the most exciting story since the end of the absolutely phenomenal Wano War. Right now, Oda examines Loki's flashback of Elbafand it is quite exciting at the moment as the events of the God Valley incident are being investigated. Whenever Oda explores a flashback, fans tend to love the development, mainly because those flashbacks are the best part of the story. At the same time, however, whenever these flashbacks start, fans will naturally start to miss the pirates. It's been a few months since Loki's flashback on Elbaf began, and right now it's safe to say that the story isn't even close to bringing fans back the Strawhat Pirates.
The fact is that Loki's flashback is still dealing with events from roughly 38 years ago. After this, there's still plenty of exciting content left to cover, that is straw pirates aren't coming back anytime soon, at least not in 2025.

Now, Loki and Harald will likely take back important roles in the storyand fans will definitely see more of them in Elbaf. It should be remembered that the whole flashback is actually about the story of Loki and the death of Harald at August's castle 14 years ago.
Right now, however, the story is nowhere near 14 years old. Oda is still dealing with the events of 38 years ago, and it looks like God Valley will continue for at least two more chapters. In addition, there are also other important things that need to be covered, such as Harald pulling out his horns. The story will probably also focus on the Roger Pirates, as well as Garp and Dragon. Fans also know that Harald goes to Marijo again and meets Shanks after Roger's death. A lot of interesting details will have to be covered in this flashback.
Finally the story goes back to 14 years ago which is when Loki kills King Harald and even after that there is a Loki vs Shanks battle that takes place 6 years ago. These events will no doubt cover more than 10 chapters. in other words, it will take at least 3-4 months for Oda to cover themmeaning that pirate straws aren't coming back anytime soon.

One Piece's Elbaf arc will continue with more focus on Roger, Shanks, Loki and Harald after death of Rocks D. Xebcwhich will relegate Slamáky to the background for the time being. For those wondering when Luffy and crew will finally return, the answer is quite simple. They won't be back in 2025. For fans to see the Straw Hat Pirates, they will have to wait until 2026. It's hard to say exactly when they'll be back, but based on everything that still needs to be discussed and answered, the Straw Hats won't be back until January 2026.
One Piece Chapter 1165 will be released next week. As usual, One Piece drops on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops Monday at 12pm JST.
