“We're in the end game now” GTA 6 marketing is about to take off

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick previously hinted when Rockstar Games marketing Grand Theft Auto 6 would unfold and that time is almost here. Indeed, this stage GTA 6Its existence is almost over and the road to release is fast approaching.

Of course, no one outside of Rockstar or Take-Two knows exactly what these marketing plans are once they start. Many fans are hoping to kick it off with a new trailer GTA 6as well as pre-orders and special edition information. The GTA 6 price is a hot topic among gamers, so it's important to confirm whether or not it's priced like a typical AAA game, along with key information about more expensive editions. After that, it stands to reason that most fans will be able to enjoy the marketing ride that Rockstar and Take-Two are planning.

Rockstar Games is making its first move involving Grand Theft Auto 6 in quite some time, and it's not taking long for fans to take notice.

GTA 6 marketing is about to grow

And the ride should be. According to the CEO of Take-Two GTA 6Marketing for the company will begin this summer. Zelnick hinted at this back in February 2026 in an interview with The Game Business and confirmed it again at Take-Two's recent earnings call. Astronomically speaking, summer starts on June 21st, which means every day after that is pretty much open to the first marketing punch. That's 18 days away at the time of writing, or just over two weeks. We are now in the endgame where the wait for marketing to start is coming to an end and the next chapter, the real marketing, begins. Then, of course, it's a path to release between now and the November 19th release date.

Many are no doubt looking forward to June 21st and beyond, but Rockstar and Take-Two like to play it coy. The companies will probably drop the June 20th trailer just to mess with fan expectations, except that's also possible based on the definition of “summer” Zelnick uses. June 21 is indeed the start of astronomical summer, but many weather-watching groups use meteorological summer, which begins on June 1, to create three-month blocks for easier data collection. As such, the trailer could drop any day now and still be considered summer.

Ultimately, this means that we are definitely in the last period GTA 6's quiet, with the CEO promising news and marketing on the horizon. There's just over two weeks until the clock officially strikes zero, and then anything can happen. Fans should keep their expectations open, but outside of price, trailer 3 and pre-orders GTA 6fans will no doubt eventually learn more about the story, characters, Vice City improvements, gameplay, and more. Fans haven't even really scratched the surface of everything to come GTA 6.

After all, the two trailers for GTA 6 So far, it's been more about setting the tone of an open-world crime game, as well as providing basic character details. Neither would be considered a deep dive, no matter how deep fans delve into them, but there will be more for them sooner rather than later.
