Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games revealed the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 December 4, 2024, about a few days before The Game Awards that year. No wonder the trailer has been breaking records ever since it was released. Just one day after its debut, it became the most watched video game reveal of all time on YouTube, accumulating over 90 million views. As if that wasn't impressive enough, it also became the most popular video game trailer of all time and the most viewed non-music video on YouTube in 24 hours. Although Rockstar hasn't shown a single hint Grand Theft Auto 6's gameplay at the time, the mere announcement of the game was enough to set the internet on fire.
Over the past few months, fans have been patiently waiting for more news about the game, but there have been no major announcements yet. Rockstar rarely shared progress updates GTA 6development and a second trailer for the game is still not in sight.
