Where to find and use Umbraan Betta in Palia

Recognized as a cousin of Palian Betta, Umbraan Betta in Paley is a fairly uncommon species of fish that many Palians may have encountered or will encounter during their adventures. This fish is known for being friendlier and more accommodating to fellow Umbraan Bettas, which cannot be said for the Palian Betta.

The Umbraan Betta can be found in freshwater and pond biomes from Elderwood, with Mitana Grove, Elderwood Central Stables, Red Blossom Cave, and the northern part of Mauvais Way being good fishing spots. Umbraan Betta can be caught using Glow Worms attached to a fishing rod during the evening and night hours. between 6pm and 3am in game.

There may be a chance to hunt Umbraan Betta in infected hunting grounds in the above locations. Palians will require specific fishing tools such as Elderwood Lure, elderberry potionor bag of illusions III, to make it possible.

How to use Umbraan Betta in Palia

After successfully catching an Umbraan Betta or more, Palians can begin to use this particular fish in several ways, the first being an item requirement for several quests. The “Mo Betta I” daily quest. and Tamal's quest “The Nuture of Shadows”. both require Umbraan Betta to progress through the quest and eventually claim her rewards.

There are several villagers in Kilima Village, Bahari Bay and Elderwood who would like an Umbraan Betta as an everyday gift increase their friendship level. Some of the villagers that can accept this fish are Einar, Elouisa, Tau, Ulfe and Zeki if their friendship is not already maxed. Catching Umbraan Betta in stellar quality enables the Palians use it as a furnishing itemwhich can be placed anywhere on your land for housing or sold via a transport basket.

Umbraan Betta is one of the few materials needed craft the Bag of Illusion III upgrade and it too it is used in cooking various fish dishes such as Fish Stew. Finally, catching this fish will help the Palians progress to three specific achievements: Elderwood Angler, Master Elderwood Angler and Infected Anglerthe latter of which requires catching infected fish in Elderwood.
