World of Warcraft made it so that defeating Zevkir in his lair no longer counts as a completed Great Vault dive. That means World of Warcraft players can no longer fill the bottom row of their Great Vault by farming Zevkir's Lair.
Zevkir is the final boss World of Warcraft: The War Within's inaugural dive season. A giant Nerubian monster can attack most other submarines World of Warcraft as Butcher from Diablo 4but players who gain access to his lair can defeat him and obtain rare items and exclusive upgrades.

However, World of Warcraft they just made a change to Zevkir's Lair that fans should know about. Since the October 8 weekly reset, clearing Zevkir's Lair no longer adds credit World of Warcraft's Great Vault, weekly grid players can earn gear by completing in-game challenges. This means that fans can no longer defeat Zevkir eight times to fill the bottom tier of the Grand Vault, and must instead complete other dives or world activities.

While some dive in World of Warcraft are easier than others, usually taking 10 to 20 minutes depending on difficulty, objectives, and layout. Zevkir's Lair, on the other hand, is a straightforward showdown with the eponymous boss that lasts a few minutes. World of Warcraft implemented this change to allow players with sufficient power levels to not only farm Zevkir to quickly complete their weekly challenges.
From a balance point of view, this change makes sense. If one dive takes a fraction of the time to complete the others, most fans will just do it instead of connecting with the rest of the system. Farming one boss over and over defeats the purpose of dives, so it's probably a good thing, right World of Warcraft made this controversial change.
That means a lot World of Warcraft players are not happy about it. Some fans, especially those who would rather focus on raiding or Mythic dungeons WoWthey liked having an easy way to fill the bottom row of the Great Vault and didn't want to spend hours clearing other dives to do so. Fortunately, players can only choose one item from the Grand Vault each week, so even if fans don't like dives, they can still get powerful gear by focusing on the content they like instead.
