Xbox Game Pass he added Final Fantasy 6 and The development of Jurassic World 3 to its ever-rotating library of content. These first June arrivals mark the 91st and 92nd titles to join the service in 2026, but what will follow after that is unclear as the next Xbox Game Pass lineup has yet to be announced, breaking the eight-month pattern.
During the first five months of 2026, Microsoft generally announced new lineups for its subscription service on Tuesdays, with one exception: the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for April was revealed on Monday. As a result, every Wave 1 announcement this year has fallen on the first Tuesday of the month – until today.

Xbox Game Pass just confirmed 2 more games for June 2026
Two more Xbox Game Pass titles will lock down release dates in June 2026, with the service now having ten games confirmed for next month.
The first June 2026 Xbox Game Pass games are here, but the full Wave 1 lineup hasn't been revealed
The development of Jurassic World 3 and Final Fantasy 6 were officially added to Xbox Game Pass on June 2. The two games were introduced around midnight local time and mark the first arrivals to the service in a month. As usual, the first monthly additions were already announced as part of the previous month's Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass lineup. However, despite recent patterns, they weren't followed by Xbox Wire's post announcing the current month's Wave 1 lineup.
Although Tuesday is not yet over at the time of this writing, the reveal of the new lineup usually occurs in the wee hours of ET, which have already passed. This makes it unlikely that this month's schedule will be announced before Wednesday, June 3. A midweek lineup announcement hasn't happened in eight months, since last fall, when Microsoft revealed both Wave 1 and Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass bundles for October 2025 on Wednesday.

As for today's additions, Final Fantasy 6 marks the sixth entry in the JRPG franchise to hit Xbox Game Pass in as many months. Whether this trend will continue remains to be seen as all the items added so far have been included Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster a collection that covers only the first half-dozen major installments of the series. That is, the port of the original Final Fantasy VII is already available on the Xbox Store, so extending this series a bit longer would be technically simple.

(Some) Xbox Game Pass June 2026 Departures already confirmed
While the June 1, 2026 Wave lineup announcement is still nowhere to be seen, Microsoft has already quietly confirmed some of its removals via the Xbox app. There are five in total: Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, The development of Jurassic World 2and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. All five will depart on June 15, 2026. Historically, Xbox app updates haven't been the most comprehensive source of upcoming removals, meaning the June 2026 Wave 1 lineup could reveal even more titles leaving the service.
