Xbox Game Pass is losing The rest: From the ashes and eight more titles later today, November 30. This upcoming catalog rotation will match the 2024 record for the most Xbox Game Pass downloads in a single day.
With one exception Cricket 22 (removed July 5), in 2024 Microsoft stuck to its usual practice of downloading games from its subscription service every two weeks – in the middle and at the end of each month. Last time it lost was Xbox Game Pass Persona 5 Tactics and six other titles on November 15.

The next nine matches will follow today, November 30. Xbox Game Pass hasn't lost more titles in a single month all year
With a total of nine departures, this next catalog rotation will match 2024's record for the most Xbox Game Pass removals in a single day. The only other time Xbox Game Pass lost nine games at once this year was on September 30th. September has also been the busiest month of the year in terms of XGP withdrawals so far, with a total of 15 withdrawals. That record will now be broken as the nine games slated to leave the service later will bring the number of November 2024 removals up to 16.
Seeing as how Xbox Game Pass only added nine new titles during November, this month will be another net negative for its content catalog. While cases like these used to be relatively rare, the XGP library is now shrinking for the third month in a row.
Whether this trend will continue should be clear in a few days, when Microsoft is expected to announce the release of Xbox Game Pass in the first half of December 2024, as well as a wave of departures on December 15. The first group is already known to include an Early Access version Thrown down and Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich are due to arrive on December 5 and 9, respectively.
