You can actually drink Nuka Cola and Sunset Sarsaparilla right now

Two of Fallout the series' signature drinks from Nuka-Cola and Sunset Sarsaparilla brands have reportedly hit store shelves, giving fans of the post-apocalyptic franchise something special to sip while playing. The fictitious soft drink brand Nuka-Cola was included Fallout series since its inception, and its legacy extends further into the real world.

In the early days of the series as a cRPG developed by Interplay, Nuka-Cola was available in a cool blue bottle, but it didn't do much for players, serving mainly as a bartering tool to get a few extra caps from anyone willing to trade. Since the acquisition of the franchise by Bethesda Fallout 3and the dark brown product redesign has become much more useful and provides some basic healing and crafting options. Starting with Fallout 4 Nuka-World add-on, players could brew their own Nuka-Cola strains for special stat boosts and Fallout 76 it also boasts several types of Nuka-Cola that can provide similar benefits.

Real-Life Official Nuka-Cola is now available

Now the Jones Soda Company, with which he works Fallout to bring Nuka-Cola to the thirsty masses since 2009, it introduced its newest Nuka-Cola flavor, Nuka-Grape. The new flavor was announced via the soft drink maker's official website, and has apparently been spotted in grocery stores in the northeastern United States, even before marketing announcing its arrival was released. Posts from happy buyers on social media showed both single bottles of Nuka-Grape and 12-packs of various bottled beverages, including the latest Nuka-Cola flavor, reportedly selling for less than $20 a case.

Except for the new grape Fallout– themed soft drink, root beer drinkers can also have fun as fans have also found Sunset Sarsaparilla in the wild. Sunset Sarsaparilla didn't go as far back as Nuka-Cola, which made its gaming debut in 1997, but it was a popular drink for those who roamed New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegasgiving the Obsidian development team a chance to add some regional flair to their entry into the series in 2010. Both Sunset Sarsaparilla and Nuka-Grape appear to be included in the package, at four bottles each, along with four bottles of Nuka-Cola Quantum Sour Berry flavored soda.

Both Nuka-Grape and Nuka-Cola Quantum are listed for online purchase through the soda company's website, but now Nuka-Grape is completely sold out and customers can only purchase empty Quantum cartons without soda. Meanwhile, some fans hope so Fallout 5 will get its own Sunset Sarsaparialla treatment, bringing a new branded product to the franchise, though fans will have to wait a long time for that as the game hasn't even been announced yet and will come later.
