Contracts of Resistance and Abyss Contract Tokens
Get to the max level Throne And Freedom – currently limited to level 50 – can only take about 10-15 hours if you know what you're doing. While we don't recommend rushing through T&L, as there are some pretty good story moments and full-on cutscenes, there may be times when you find yourself caught between levels.
Different adventures – different chapters of the story – are also limited by level. You may have to do some grinding between possible chapters. That's primarily what this guide will cover, and it'll also give you some important tips for leveling as you go.
Main Story Quest
This is the main way to level up in Throne And Liberty as it provides the most experience. The story is divided into ten chapters and each chapter provides rewards codex rewards to complete additional side content.
The fastest way to level up is simple:
- Complete main story quests.
- If you are caught between levels, complete exploratory codex quests in the highest level area available to you.
If you really want to speed up leveling, you can ignore most co-op and secret dungeons, dynamic events, and pretty much anything else. This way you can reach the maximum limit quickly in about 10 hours.
Leveling your device
Don't worry about using armor stones, utility stones, etc. on lower level gear. Green can be transferred to blue and blue to purple.
It's a good idea to keep yourself as strong as possible in each stage by leveling up gear as you go.
When you reach level 50, you can decide the items you want as BiS for your character and build.
Skills
Skills are a bit different as they can be more expensive to transfer as they are much rarer in the books used for this.
That said, it's a great idea to pick a build/class early. Weapon Mastery is also very important and requires a long time level up Choose wisely or you might end up regretting your decision after investing a lot of time and materials into your weapons.

You really shouldn't complete either of these pieces of content before you reach level 50, as you have specific limits for both quests.
Resistance Contracts offer the best rewards at level 50, and these are the kinds of materials and items you'll spend a long time grinding for.
It makes sense to save all 60 Resistance Contract slots for when you reach max level to really start your grind.
The same goes for Abyssal Contract Tokens. This currency allows you to farm open world dungeons with your guild/party with the ability to obtain high level gear. You should not spend them in lower level areas like Ant Nest unless you're completing the codex content there.
Dynamic and world events
Likewise, these events can be largely ignored by power levellers. To get the most out of these events, you want to be targeting events commissioned by your guild or if you want to manage specific materials and equipment.
