New races and subclasses are constantly being addedonBaldur's Gate 3by the fans. Some of these are based on actual D&D rules, while others are homemade versions. However, one fan decided to transform Tav and his companions into everyone's favorite superhero team, the X-Men.
Mutant Powers Marvels X-Menby Aureilius2112 introduces several characters from the mutant team to Baldur's Gate 3 on PC, essentially creating an X-Men RPG. One of the best things about it is that it doesn't actually use their iconic comic outfits, it uses modified game outfits, making it look like a medieval version of the team.

Marvels X-Men Mutant Powers includes the likes of Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Psylocke, Magik, Colossus, Emma Frost and Iceman. Each of them is assigned to the class that best suits them. For example, Storm is a Storm Sorcerer while Wolverine is a Berserker Barbarian. Characters use a combination of in-game spells and abilities, along with some specially created by the creator.
It also looks like most of them even have flavored dialogue taken from the original. The X-Men Animated Show. It looks like the creator is still working on expanding and improving his work as he asked fans to vote on which character to add next. They also tweaked the character's abilities with each update.
This doesn't mean you won't be able to level up and multiclass your team. “Characters can be easily split into multiple classes for interesting combinations,” the description says. “For example, taking a Sorcerer level on Psylocke gives her access to Telepathic Bolts to supplement her psionic abilities. Or maybe taking a Tempest Cleric level on Storm for increased lightning damage and access to water creation.”
So if you've somehow run out of reasons for the new Baldur's Gate 3 game, or you're just a big X-Men fan, you can pretend it's a new time-traveling adventure for the mutant team. God knows they had many.
