Members of the best Baroque works in one piece

In One Piece, the Baroque Works organization was a crime syndicate aiming to take over the kingdom of Arabasta, which they would have succeeded if not for Luffy and company saving the day. The most memorable part of the group was their naming scheme where men went by numbers while women were coded as days or holidays.

Even though they are sort of ranked by strength (the lowest number tends to be the stronger character), not all of them had the same impact on the story. Like the Straw Hat Pirates, not every member is a superpower, but everyone is useful in their own way.

Updated April 5, 2026, Axel Bosso: With the release of One Piece Season 2 by Netflix, we saw many members of the Baroque Works in live action for the first time. We've come back to this list to mention which ones are popping up and who's behind them.

Members not shown

Including Mr. 11 because he barely appeared

When Nefertari Vivi explains how the naming scheme worked in Baroque Works, she mentions many members from Frontier who do not appear in the series. We can assume they were powerful individuals and technically exist, but we have to rank them low because we don't know much about them.

Netflix One Piece Season 2 Makes All Major Changes From Anime

Netflix's One Piece Live-Action continues to be a faithful adaptation of Oda's manga, but there are some interesting changes.

We've included Mr. 11 here even though he appears in both the Anime and Manga. His moment in the spotlight is short-lived, both in terms of time and survival, as someone called Mr. Mellow shot.

Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day

Sniping Duo

A one-piece image depicting the day of Mr. 7 and Miss

Masters of ranged combat, a pair of snipers known as Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day, are sent on long-range missions, though they only use pistols. Still, they are able to fire their weapons at conspicuously distant targets, so they clearly know what they are doing.

Their involvement in the story is significant, although not as much as the other members. They were there in the final fight of the Arabasta arc, but only served as a springboard for Vivi to show how much she's grown, making them the lowest of any Baroque Works member seen.

Mr. 7 makes a quick appearance in the Netflix live action as Zoro takes care of him in the blink of an eye. The character was interpreted by Ben Kgosimore, known from TV series like Outlander and Shuga. Miss Father's Days has never been on a TV show.

Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine

Explosive weight

The abilities that Gem (Mr. 5) and Mikita (Miss Valentine) have are impressive, mostly thanks to their Devil Fruits. Gem can make any part of his body explode (including the air he exhales) while being immune to them, while Mikita can change his weight to be lighter than air or up to 10 tons.

This makes them a deadly pair and worthy of their rank as one of the few officer agents of baroque cannons. Their overconfidence in their abilities ends up being their downfall and they are constantly beaten by the straw pirates every time they appear.

The pair have a lot of screen time in the second season of the live-action show, and their personalities are a perfect match. They are played by Camrus Johnson (of Netflix TV series Batwoman and The Electric State) and Jazzara Jaslyn (who worked on HBO's Warrior).

Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas

Also their dog, Lassoo

One-piece image featuring Mr. 4, his partner and his dog

The perfect coordination shown by Babe (Mr. 4) and Drophy (Miss Merry Christmas) is enough to make them rank third in strength, but they lack the intelligence and resourcefulness of the higher ranks. Still, their abilities can make short work of almost anyone, and are deadly up close and from afar.

This is because Babe is strong enough to wield a 4-ton bat, which he uses for melee combat as well as sending exploding baseballs at his enemies. Drophy isn't much of a fighter, but her tunnels (created thanks to her Devil Fruit, which turned her into a mole) can be used to close gaps invisibly or set traps for opponents.

Their strangest member, however, is Lassoo, a pistol who ate a devil fruit, allowing him to transform into a hybrid of a pistol and a dog. As for how the weapon ate the Devil Fruit, it is unknown, but Zoan-type Devil Fruits can be unpredictable like this.

Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger

Doublefinger means the first of January

Daz (Mr. 1) and Zala (Miss Doublefinger) are the most dangerous members of the Baroque Cannons, short of their leader, the Crocodile. Both are Devil Fruit users and transform their bodies into deadly weapons: Daz can turn any part of his body into blades, while Zala can grow sharp spikes that she usually uses to transform her hair.

Although Daz and Zala were mortal when they were partners, they went their separate ways after the events of the Arabasta arc. While Zala now manages Spiders Cafe alongside other ex-Baroque Works members, Daz continues to loyally serve Crocodile wherever he goes.

Mr. 8 and Miss Wednesday

They are not actually partners

When the princess of the kingdom of Arabasta, Nefertari Vivi, decided to infiltrate the baroque works, she was joined by the captain of the royal guard, Igaram, and together they climbed the ranks of the criminal organization. They eventually became Frontier Agents, acquiring an alias and a partner in crime.

Igram became Mr. 8 and was paired with Miss Monday, while Vivi became Miss Wednesday and was paired with Mr. 9. They were eventually discovered by high-ranking Baroque Works agents, but the friendship they formed with Mr. 9 and Miss Monday got the two criminal members on their side when fighting broke out.

Their stories are central to the plot of the Arabasta saga, so all these characters had to be high. Once the dust settled, Mr. 9 and Miss Monday got together and had a child, showing that even within baroque works there is a chance for a happy ending.

3

Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek

Tactician and manipulator

Galdino (Mr. 3) and Marianne (Miss Goldenweek) are dangerous in a different way, at least compared to the rest of the cast, which makes them interesting. For example, Marianne can influence people's emotions and actions with her images, without using devil fruit.

Galdino is the real brains of the operation, able to devise elaborate schemes and is also a master infiltrator. He's not the greatest fighter, but he has a devil fruit that allows him to control Wax and allows him to create all sorts of traps and weapons to defeat his enemies.

Both characters appeared in the Netflix adaptation, and as you can imagine, their portrayals are as bizarre as you might expect. Marianne is played by actress Sophia Anne Caruso, a young woman interpreting a young child, and the character benefits from a strange contrast. Mr. 3, on the other hand, has a well-known actor: David Dastmalchian, someone who was born to interpret Galdin.

2

Mr. 2 Bon Kurei

It doesn't need any pairing

A one-shot showing Mr. 2 talking to us with sanji in the background

Bon Kurei has many abilities and is skilled enough to hold his own as the second strongest officer agent without needing a pair. Part of it is because he dresses like a woman, but the real reason is that he works better alone.

In combat, his grappling and kicks were seen to go toe-to-toe with Sanji's strength, and he's only gotten stronger since his time in the baroque works. However, what makes him unique is his Devil Fruit ability, which allows him to copy the face and body of anyone he touches with his right hand, making him a master infiltrator.

We haven't seen Bon Kurei in Netflix's One Piece yet, but he has been confirmed to be in Season 3. The actor taking on the role is none other than the versatile Cole Escola who is also a comedian and singer. We can be sure he will knock it out of the park.

1

Mr. 0 and Miss all Sunday

Sand hand

We all know Nico Robin as the Straw Pirates archaeologist, a cunning woman with devil fruit powers that allow her to grow limbs from anything within range. She first appeared in the series as Miss All Sunday, one of the custodians of the baroque works and the real antagonist of Luffy and his friends.

But the real reason her pair is at the top is because of the Crocodile, known during his time in Baroque works as Mr. 0. He was the leader of a criminal organization and its mastermind, whose terrifying sand powers (also granted by a Devil Fruit) make him one of the series' most iconic villains, and he's still as relevant as ever in the current discussions of the One Piece quest.

While we haven't seen much of Crocodile in the live-action series (the best is yet to come), we already know that Joe Manganiello is portraying the character. He is quite a famous actor who you may remember from Magic Mike XXL (2015), his character Alcide Herveaux in the TV series True Blood (2008-2015) and Nonnas in Bruno (2025).

On the other hand, we have already seen many scenes with the electric and mysterious Lera Abova, the Russian actress and model who became the Robin of our dreams. We can't wait to see more of her in the series, but if you want to explore Abo's career, you can check out Extraterritorial (2025) and Honey Don't (2025).
