How to start the Savage Predicament field mission

professor savage in gizeh village in indiana jones and the great circle.

This quest will not be available until you are infiltrated and escaped the Nazi compound in Giza and then returned safely to Nawal's tent. You must also have completed A Savage Discovery in the Vatican.

You can return to the Vatican using Travel card in your journal and selection Will visit again choice.

When Nawal mentions that there's an Englishman in the village asking for help, that's your hint that the mission is available. Road to the village of Gizeh on the east side of the map; Savage is in the village, near the merchant you bought the lighter from earlier. As you approach, you will hear him calling for help.

Talk to Savage to trigger a cutscene and start the quest.

If you haven't already, go north from the village to the checkpoint east of the Nazi compound where you emerged after the collapsed tunnel sequence. Go to the back of the watchtower and climb up using the whip. Walk around the ledge ahead and enter through the open window.

Then beat up the guards inside take his uniform down from the table. Wearing it will make infiltrating the mix much easier the second time around only officers will question your presence.

Return to detention center

There is no need to enter the compound through the tunnels at the Great Pyramid excavation site as you did for the story mission, although that is a possibility. Now that you've made it this far, you can enter through the western entrance opposite the excavation site. It's much faster and the tunnels don't take you very far, so the direct route is best now that it is available.

The detention center is wooden building on the southern edge of the area that you met with Voss and Gantz. This time you can enter through the front doorbut we recommend you instead climb through the side window as before. The front door and entrance room have a few guards and that's it easier to get to them by approaching from the next room than by trying to attack the building from the front.

Once inside, go to the room to the left of the main entrance, then turn right and enter the holding cells. Pick up note from Gantz on the table to find that Sidney was moved to the Khafre excavation site. You can too type in the cell to the right to get home a letter written by Sidney.

Once you have both letters, leave the folded a head to the Excavation Site to the southwest.

How to rescue Sidney at the dig site

When you arrive at the Khafre excavation site, the map in your journal will change to a zoomed-in minimap of the area. Start with that go to the building in the center of the place. Entering from the north will allow you to do this easily steal the medicine box and the radio frequency. Once you have them, take a page from Gantz's diary on the dining table in the main room.

That's what the note says Sidney was assigned to the A1 tunnel. There is an entrance southeast of the building you are in and along the wooden ramp from entrance A2. Be careful, go there even if you are wearing a Wehrmacht uniform; there it is officer right outside between the mess hall and the tunnels, and if it triggers the alarm, you'll have to deal with an unusually high number of severe.

So continue along the A1 tunnel to the end use your whip to climb down the hole to Sidney. After the cutscene, you will be standing in front of a breakable wall a metal rod conveniently at your feet to break it. before you do take a photo of the mural on the wall to your left.

How to get out of the tunnels with Sidney

Break through the wall and follow the tunnels until you reach a fork. There is a a table with some bread if you need a quick health boost but stay low; the road is guarded by two governors, which is not exactly an ideal fight at the best of times.

Both the left and center paths will take you where the heavies will notice you. There is a less recognizable path on the right allowing you to sneak up on them. Taking one down with a sledgehammer or other weapon before they can react will make fighting the other much easier.

Once you overcome the difficulties, follow the minecart tracks uphill until you reach a collapsed support beam; pick it up escape. At this point, Sidney makes his way back to the village on his own. Visit him at the same place where you talked to Professor Savage before retrieve one of the ten hidden stelae for the Cairo Museum and complete the quest.
