Which ship upgrade to get first in Helldivers 2?
Liberating hostile alien planets is not an easy job Helldivers 2. You don't just have to rely on your co-op friends, but also your ability to summon powerful tricks that can (and will) leave the planet in ruins. Whether that requires calling in airstrikes to drop explosive charges, directing orbital barrages, or deploying patrols, you'll need every trick at your disposal to gain the upper hand against the Terminids and Automatons.
However, your tricks must be upgraded to improve their effectiveness in higher difficulty missions. This can be done by upgrading your ship modules through the ship management terminal located just outside the armory where you can change your titles Helldivers 2. This is where you spend your hard-earned samples – lots of them!

How to unlock all ship modules in Helldivers 2
You need a total 3,830 common (green) samples, 2,920 rare (orange) samples, 305 very rare (pink) samples, and 335,000 request tickets to unlock all ship modules Helldivers 2.
You won't be doing that anytime soon. Specimens are hard to come by and the chance of finding every specimen on a mission is low. Get into the habit of exploring all the points of interest on the map to get some samples before extraction.
Samples are shared between all players on the team so stop killing your teammates steal their samples!

Depending on the type of trick, you need to fully upgrade two categories of ship modules Helldivers 2 get as many benefits as possible. For example, Engineering Bay and Robotics Workshop together upgrade your patrols and stations. Bridge and orbital cannons work together to upgrade your orbitals.
Which ship upgrade to get first in Helldivers 2?
Ship modules are divided into six categories, each containing five levels of upgrades Helldivers 2. While you can choose any category of ship modules to upgrade first, their individual upgrade levels must be unlocked sequentially.
This means that you have to unlock, for example, a level 1 orbital cannon upgrade before unlocking level 2. You can't go directly to level 5. Since the price of samples increases with each level and farming samples is time consuming, you need to be absolutely sure which ship module to unlock first Helldivers 2.
While the long list of ship upgrades can seem overwhelming, follow the simple rules below to help you decide what to unlock first. Yes, each Ship Module does a lot more after it's exhausted, but this list is meant to reduce confusion between the new Helldivers 2 players.
- Center for Patriotic Administration – mainly improves the tricks of your support weapons by reducing their cooldowns and charge times.
- Orbital cannons – mainly improves your orbital tricks by reducing their cooldowns and increasing their volleys and burst damage radii.
- Hangar – mainly improves your Eagle tricks, allowing you to rearm and call in raids and bombardments faster.
- Must – mainly increases fire damage and reduces cooldowns for all tricks.
- Engineering Bay – mainly improves your patrol strategies and positioning by reducing their cooldowns and increasing their health
- Robotics workshop – also mainly improves your patrols and positioning strategies by increasing their ammo capacity, turret rotation speed and resistance to explosive damage.
It's probably a good idea to start upgrading the Hangar first. Eagle raids and bombing runs are incredibly useful Helldivers 2. If you prefer orbital strikes and lasers instead, start with orbital cannons instead. But choose only one of themand upgrade the Patriotic Administration Center on the side. Everything else comes last.
