While some Star field players' moral compasses steer them away from siding with The Hunter and his nihilistic ways, as seeing a cold-blooded killer go about his daily chores creates unintentional entertainment.
Near the end Star fieldplayers will learn what actually happened to the Earth's magnetosphere and why the cradle of humanity turned into an uninhabitable dustbin. It is at this point in the game that players will have to decide whether to choose The Hunter or The Emissary, two Starborn with vastly different moral philosophies, to side with them as a partner for the final chapters of the deep universe RPG. While The Hunter has the potential to earn some negative karma with the player by killing one of his fellow Constellation members, siding with him also opens up another side mission and a chance to obtain a special weapon.

The Hunter's pompous view of humanity has earned him a spot at the top of the list of the most evil characters in the Starfield, but he clearly hasn't abandoned his desire for a neat and clean living space. Reddit user setsewerd completed the Unearthed mission and teamed up with The Hunter just to avoid rushing to the endgame. The player who shared the ship with the cold killer caught the Hunter falling into one of the ship's idle animations for the NPCs while The Hunter grabbed a broom and began sweeping the floor of the ship's living modules.
Starfield Player bores Hunter into cleaning
While it's not unheard of to see a named character take over an idle NPC's animation, this player had some justification for thinking The Hunter was simply bored. The player has technically reached the end Star field about a year ago, but they didn't enter The Unity and start New Game Plus. Since The Hunter and The Emissary's thinking was twisted by repeatedly jumping to alternate universes, this player simply decided not to leave their original universe at all, which would logically mean that The Hunter would have no business staying. as their companion.
This isn't the first time recently that a fan of the game has pointed out galactic villains engaging in out-of-character actions. Earlier this month, another player ran into a major problem with NPCs Star fieldthey discovered that they could successfully conduct a covert operation on The Crimson Fleet while dressed in the official gear of the UC SysDef, a militaristic police force with the primary goal of destroying the space pirate organization.
