One of these neat projects was shared on the official website Popopia subreddit by Reddit user WhisperingBlume888. As seen in the picture, the player “Ditto-fied” their Nintendo Switch 2. Specifically, he bought a purple console case to match the color of the Pokémon and added a face sticker to the back. According to WhisperingBlume888, they came up with the idea for a Ditto-themed change after receiving a Switch 2 as an early birthday present to play Popopia.

When so many players play Popopia right now, it's no surprise that this Switch 2 change has piqued the interest of the Reddit community. WhisperingBlume888's Reddit post has over 4.3k upvotes so far, with many fans leaving comments praising the look of the customized console. In particular, comments pointed out how effective the minimalist design turned out to be. Additionally, many gamers have been inspired to Ditto their Switch 2 systems. Luckily, WhisperingBlume888 shared the name of the case and sticker in the post description.

While fans were inspired to pay tribute outside the game Popopiamany others were busy showing off their skills in the game. Players can use various customization tools to rework their islands, and some builds have taken things to the next level. For example, one player recently recreated Spirited away spa house in Popopiarevealing what is possible in the game.

More Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games coming soon

Hopefully, Popopia players will be inspired in the following days as well. While the game's creative freedom should keep players coming back, more games are coming to the Switch 2 this year. Notably, Nintendo recently announced a release date Splatoon Raiderswhich reveals that it will launch on July 23rd. Yoshi and the mysterious book coming on May 21 and Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave a decline is expected later in the year.
