Battlefield 6 reveals a packed schedule for Season 3

Battlefield 6 has revealed its roadmap for Season 3, giving players a look at what's ahead, including new maps, weapons, game modes, and a host of other additions. Battlefield 6 debuted in October 2025 and met with immediate success. It sold over 7 million copies in its first three days and even established itself as one of the best-selling titles of the year, surpassing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Even if Battlefield 6 dominated the charts, its post-launch journey hasn't turned out to be the smoothest. Players complained about the title's overwhelming seasonal content, overemphasis on multiplayer, poor map quality, and user interface issues. To make matters worse, the title also found itself under pressure from competing releases like ARC Raiders. All these factors led to a sharp decline Battlefield 6player base. However, it looks like EA is now trying to steer things back in the right direction with the upcoming Season 3 update.

The Brace for Blastpoint is set to introduce Cairo Bazaar, a brand new map inspired by Battlefield 4's classic Grand Bazaar. Built for melee combat, it takes players through crowded streets and alleys. The fan-favorite Obliteration mode also returns. In addition, the update will add the Explosive Charge event for REDSEC as well as new equipment such as the PP-19 and the Handheld Jammer gadget. Season 3 wraps things up with the High-Value Target update, which brings Tactical Obliteration, a casual battle royale playlist, along with a REDSEC event called Wet Work.
