Borderlands 4 fans have discovered what may be the next Vault Hunter DLC referenced in datamined dialogue. This leak comes right after Borderlands 4 released its first story DLC pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, along with its first post-launch Vault Hunter, C4SH. While developer Gearbox Software has confirmed that a second DLC will be released along with another new playable Vault Hunter, no further details about this expansion have been shared.
Latest entry in Border the series received some criticism for its post-launch support. Many fans were unhappy with the price Borderlands 4's Story Pack 1 DLC, tacking on a minimum of 2-3 hours of content for $30. Where this first Story Pack is praised is its new Vault Hunter, C4SH, which makes all future playable characters an exciting proposition. Borderlands 4 fans.

Borderlands 4 fans think they've found Vault Hunter DLC 2 in New Datamine
Reddit user jakobsestate shared his datamining findings from Borderlands 4They ran the credits and found what could be a reference to the next Vault Hunter DLC in the unused dialogue. The name “Loveless” appears multiple times in the datamined credits, which may indicate that this is the name of the Vault Hunter coming in DLC 2. It is unclear who or what this Loveless is, especially since they refer to themselves as “we”, but the fact that the name appears in so many dialogue options supports the theory that they are planned to be the second Vault Hunter DLC.
In the Mad Ellie and Vault of the Damned DLC, the Mancubus character can make several different comments about the Vault Hunters in the game, including one line of dialogue that says, “Looks like you've gone through infinite recursion, eh, Ms. Loveless.” Although it was originally believed to be aimed at Borderlands 4's Vex, these newly revealed lines of dialogue suggest that the “Loveless” Mancubus is talking about is a completely different character. Since this dialogue appears alongside other in-game vault hunter jokes, it's easy to see how this could be a teaser for a future playable character.
To further support this theory, user jakobsestate found the name Loveless in unused dialogue, along with other variations for the rest of the Vault Hunters. In an image posted on Reddit, the line “Yes! This is Loveless — We are a Vault Hunter” can be found right next to a variation of the same dialogue for the existing vault hunter Rafa, which reads “Yes! This is Rafa. What's more, another line of dialogue has been discovered that reads: “We are Loveless. I'm looking for a woman named Ellie.” While this line incorrectly mixes up the pronouns, it further cements the idea that Loveless is the playable character's name.

Comments on jakobsestate's post are already theorizing who this mysterious Loveless could be and how they might function as a Vault Hunter. Some users note that the character uses the pronoun “we” when referring to himself, suggesting that he might be some kind of hive mind, while others theorize that Loveless might even be an Eridian Vault Hunter. Another possibility is that the Loveless are using the royal we to refer to themselves as some kind of status symbol, meaning they could be more classy Vault Hunters.
