Others feel it Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds events happen so quickly that players have little time to focus on other aspects of the game. Many also believe that taking over so many weekends just to push festival matches could end up doing more harm than good.
It remains to be seen if Sega will take into account player feedback on the timing of the festival or stick with the current schedule. Recently, series producer Takashi Iizuka told Polygon that Sega is open to listening Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds fans and encouraged them to suggest ideas for future DLC characters. This suggests that the company may be receptive to feedback, although many still feel that the developer is too focused on adding new characters and less interested in what the fan base actually wants.
