After playing Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 for a while, you quickly realize that the game revolves mainly around using your abilities during combat to gain an edge over your enemies. This is largely because the groups of enemies you have to face get larger as you progress and become increasingly difficult to eliminate with just melee combat.
When you choose a clan at the beginning of the game, you can unlock all of its abilities just by spending ability points. However, if you want to unlock skills from other clans, you'll need to get some Sanguine, Choleric, and Melancholic points from Blood Resonance events.
How to find blood resonance events
Blood Resonance events are a special feature in the open world of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 that appear randomly, and if you participate in these events, you can get up to 100 Sanguine, Choleric and Melancholic points depending on the type of person you are interacting with. To do this, you must first identify these special people.
This can be achieved mainly in two ways. The first one is simple, just look at the map and see if there are any s icons the same symbol as the blood type shown on the lower left key. If you see such a symbol, you can go there to find a person who will give you the desired points.
You have to live human for a while for these events, so there is it is important to do this in a remote area.
The second way to identify these blood resonance events is by using staying in vampire sight as you roam the streets of Seattle. When you do this, you'll see most human hearts in white and police hearts in yellow. However, sometimes you will also see these hearts in red, purple and pink colors.
You can talk to people with these colorful hearts evoke emotions in them to trigger a resonance event.
How to get resonance blood
When you approach them, you'll notice that there's a chat button for almost every person you meet in the open world, though it only triggers the proper cutscene for people who they have a chance to trigger blood resonance. To get blood from Resonance events, you have to treat people differently depending on how you find them:

If you find them using the icon on the map, they will already be ready for action and you can simply feed on them to get blood.

On the other hand, if you see their beating heart, but there is no icon on the map, you will first you have to talk to them and evoke emotions.
When you evoke emotions by talking to these people, they will either follow you or run away from you if done right. Therefore, it is recommended that you do this with people who are ready to feed, because you will you get a lot more if you take them to a remote area.
If your conversation with people who have colored hearts but no icon fails, their hearts will return to white.
If you have a person ready to feed but you don't succeed with them, you can too use your telekinesis on them to intimidate them without making much progress in breaking the masquerade.
