Run the Pit at a manageable level

You get Paragon Points just like Leveling, but instead of a Skill Point (and instead of getting a Level) you get a Paragon Level. Pattern levels are shared across all characters and slowly require more and more experience to reach the next point.
When you have the Paragon system unlocked at the end of the game, the fastest way to get more Paragon points and max out your character is to face The Pit. The pit is extremely fast, very hostile, and drops both Obols and allows you to upgrade your glyphs at the end. For optimal XP farming, stick to the Pit level, which can be completed in about three to five minutes.
