Final Fantasy 14 will gradually bring back cosmetic rewards from The Feast PVP game mode, which was phased out over the course of the year Endwalker expansion in favor of Crystalline Conflict. Even though the holiday is gone Final Fantasy 14 Director and producer Naoki Yoshida said that Square Enix is bringing back some unattainable prizes in response to player feedback.
The Feast was a team-based arena PVP game mode available during To heaven, Stormtrooperand Shadowbringers extension. Matches were decided by the medals each team earned for defeating the other players. While the rewards for The Feast were purely cosmetic, some were limited to the top 100 fighters in the data center, making them unavailable to most Final Fantasy 14 players. The holiday was over Endwalkerwith Crystalline Conflict taking its place Final Fantasy 14Popular small scale PVP battle mode.
Final Fantasy 14 brings rewards from Feast's
During the conclusion of the 89th live letter, Producer Yoshida said (via zr/ffxiv Discord translation) that Final Fantasy 14 will bring back replicas of The Feast rewards in response to player feedback. With The Feast gone, most rewards were unobtainable. However, as the game experienced a player jump during Shadowbringers and endwalker, this meant that there were more active players who lost The Feast game mode than before. Despite FF14The number of players 's evening is during DawntrailYoshida said that The Feast rewards will be gradually added back over time, though it's unclear how often that will be. Some of The Feast's potentially returning rewards include armor sets and mounts, as shared on the r/ffxiv subreddit by a redditor named VanillaSeparate4493.
Final Fantasy 14Update 7.4 will also bring a major change to the glamor system as Square Enix loosens some of the restrictions on the types of armor players can wear for any job. Once Patch 7.4 arrives on December 16th, Final Fantasy 14 players can combine styles previously thought impossible. For example, the Dark Knight could enchant his armor to look like the armor used by Jobs, such as the White Mage and Pictomancer. However, due to animation restrictions, weapon restrictions will remain in effect.
Currently, some of Final Fantasy 14PVP series rewards from the past are available for purchase in The Wolves' Den, which requires players to spend wolf marks or trophy crystals earned from PVP modes. Since most of The Feast's earlier armor sets include plate helmets, it is unclear if any of these will be modified to fit the Viera and Hrothgar characters after the changes made in Final Fantasy 14update 7.3.
