Fireworks Artist Reward
When completing story tasks in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomyou'll unlock more sidequests, so you should make a habit of returning to areas you've saved from rifts. Some quests are even “linked” to each other, requiring you to complete one in order to complete the next. One of them is “The Fireworks Artist” in Goron City. It is one of Echoes of wisdomEasier side quests that won't take much of your time. Completing this quest will allow you to grab an Echo that you can't get anywhere else.

How to finish
Before starting “The Fireworks Artist”, you need to get rid of the rift in Eldin Temple. Once you've done that, go back to Goron City, go up the stairs and enter the the room to the right of Darston's room. Talk to Basa and start the side quest. He's trying to make new types of fireworks, but he needs something called dusty soil. You can find dusty soil near the Rock-Roast Quarry entrance/waypoint. Land with explosive dust can be found near golden flowers. Look at left of Rock-Roast Quarryand you will see a small hot spring near three fields of golden flowers. Inspect the sparking area for blasting powder contamination.
Blastpowder soil is a quest item and cannot be used to make smoothies.
From Goron City, you can head northwest to Rock-Roast Quarry, but if you've activated fast travel locations, then just warp to it. It is highly likely that you unlocked the Waypoint Stone during the main quest “The Rift on Eldin Volcano”. If you're still not sure where it is, you can look at the heart icon in the image below:
