God of War Laufey is another major series God of War and now we know who will be playing with whom in the highly anticipated release. God of War Laufey was the last big reveal at the latest PlayStation State of Play event, with Sony showing off roughly 20 minutes of gameplay. The God of War Laufey the gameplay presentation looked fantastic, but the game didn't get a release announcement at the show.
God of War LaufeyThe gameplay trailer laid the groundwork for the story, Faye/Laufey wakes up in a foreign land after her apparent death and burial to fight dead gods in the afterlife. Faye is not alone in her adventure, and various supporting characters join her on her journey. Most of the other story details are being kept under wraps for now, but we do know who is playing the various characters God of War Laufey.

The titular Laufey/Faye is played by Deborah Ann Woll, who reprized the role from the previous one God of War games. Woll is perhaps best known for her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Karen Page, who appeared in the Netflix original. Daredevil series, various Punisher projects, Defendersand an acknowledged reboot Daredevil: Born Again. Her two main companions in the game are a magical ribbon named Rue and a space cube named Phranque, played by Perlina Lau and Jack Quaid.
Perlina Lau is a producer and actress who has appeared in television series such as Friday Night Bites and dairy. Jack Quaid, meanwhile, is best known for his role as Hughie Guyswhich just recently aired its series finale. Quaid's first major film role was in The Hunger Gamesand in the last five years appeared in Scream (2022), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Oppenheimer, Companionand Novocaineamong other projects.
God of War Laufey will have a number of villains for Faye and her companions to contend with, with the gods Sekhmet and Begtse specifically highlighted in the game's presentation. Unfortunately, it has not been revealed who will be playing these characters in the game, so fans will have to wait for more information in this area. More villains will probably appear in it God of War Laufey too, so there's still a lot to learn about the game.
Kratos and Atreus were spotted in God of War Laufey game presentation, and will likely be played again by Christopher Judge and Sunny Suljic, though it's unclear whether their performance will strictly use old material or feature new recordings. A lot is kept secret God of War Laufeyand so fans will have to wait for more information. A specific release window hasn't been announced, but we believe God of War Laufey will be released over the next few years.
