WASHINGTON: Kamala Harris does not support an arms embargo on US ally Israel, a top adviser said Thursday in one of the first substantive statements on her Gaza war policy since she entered the 2024 White House race in July. The comments came a day after US Vice Pres. for the first time since she became the Democratic Party candidate less than three weeks ago, the demonstration was attacked by pro-Palestinian protesters.
